We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour we were undertaking. The rooms were very comfortable and a great size. All of us enjoyed the fairly large pool. During our stay we had a western meal for dinner and a 'local' meal for lunch. A lot of pride was taken on the plating of both. The local dishes were our best taste sensation. The staff were very attentive and eager to please. The location is just a little on the outskirts of where the 'action' is (Pub Street/Night Market), but only a very short and cheap Tuk Tuk ride away. Would certainly recommend to any traveler.

I chose this hotel because I was told that it is owned by Cambodians. Most of the hotels and businesses in Siem Reap are owned by Koreans. Unfortunately almost none of the revenue from the Korean owned businesses flow back to the Cambodian people.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is well trained and friendly, and the pool is beautiful. The rooms are large, and well appointed with authentic Cambodian furniture. I loved this hotel and I will stay there again. I have not visited in 4 years, so my review is somewhat dated.

my visit here was with my son for his 21st Birthday a trip to Cambodia and all the sites. Was greeted by welcome drink and showed to our room. Our luggage was delayed from flight transfer but was all sorted by the hotel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Food was good and we ate couple of times in the hotel resturant which was empty, highly recommend the vegetable Amok. There were some western dishes on the menu. Breakfast geared up to Chinese visitors but you could have omlete made up for you and they did have tea if you asked.
The internet was patchy to send messages on e-mail and facebook.
Didn't use the spa but the pool was nice to dip into after a days site seeing. Salt water pool. More five star hotel than a four star, room was clean, beds alittle hard. Room cleaned each day.

This hotel was recommended by a friend so we initially booked fer a four night stay. The room was ok but the are was no practically no wifi and the beds were like slabs of concrete . The pillows were large and so hard that it was impossible to use them so we slept without pillows. Also the bathroom was full of mould. We had our laundry removed from our room on the first morning while we were having breakfast (very bland and served by people who are just going through the motions) , on returning half an hour later we rang the desk to tell them we had left around $60 in my shirt pocket (button down type) . Our unwashed laundry was returned 15 minutes later minus the cash and we were told too bad ..... I'm serious ...'!!!! No explanation . Just blank looks.
Staff morale was appalling and needless to say we checked out the next day . Give this place a wide berth.

Room Tip: Get a room that doesn't have a noisy air conditioner like the one in our room.

Dear Alan S,
Thank you very much for selecting Prince D’ Angkor Hotel & Spa as your accommodation for your holidays in Siem Reap.

We are very sorry for convenience caused to you during your stay that our staffs make you not satisfactory with this kind of thing that might not happen with you, however we already investigated with the concerned department pertaining to your money they said that they could not find it in your pocket as stated by your side different amount and we tried to follow with laundry staff again but result was the same, they was no money in your shirt not that we told to you during your stay.
The mattress as well good and hard but we do not have problem with the guest. The pillow will be replaced step by step in the future.
For the issue of the payment we need to remind also that your travel agent made the mistake. You call them to confirm the price and it was right when you book through an online, you have a commission to pay.
We hope we will have next chance to serve you better again in the future
Thank you and hope to see you soon in Prince D’Angkor Hotel & Spa.

Had booked 2 deluxe balcony rooms over looking the pool but on arrival only one room had a balcony.
Staff at front desk didnt seem to be interested in changing us to 2 balcony rooms.
I was advised that not all deluxe rooms have balconies but that is not what is advertised on their website.
The hotel is a lovely old style building with a great pool however the beds & pillows were extremely hard.
Breakfast was average but food at the pool bar was good.
Staff need training in all areas of the hotel as simple requests could not be met.

Stayed 2 nights in this amazing hotel. Big and modern room. Have not used any spa service, but the swimming pool was great. Compared with many 4* hotels in Europe, this is a 5*.
Beware the small carpet, because the floor is slipy. I would remove this carpet from the room. It is dangerous in my opinion. Otherwise a great room.
Breakfast very good, nice music in the lobby during the breakfasttime.
Staff very helpfull and kind.

Room Tip: Choose a room with pool view.

Nice hotel in a very convinient location. Every interesting place is at a very short walking distance. The romos are big and confortable, but somewhat slippy due to wood floor. This hotel has a great swimming pool. The breakfast is good and the service is adecuate. SPA is just average and massages not really good compared to Thailand.

Overall is a very good option at Siem Reap.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are a better option.
