“Nice hotel, good service....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2013 via mobile

I stayed here for a weekend. The service was great. Pool area lovely and the spa was small but nice. I upgraded to a corner suite. Whilst the space was great and the bed huge the room felt it needed a little refurbishment. The TVs were also old.

Concierge were great in arranging a guide and car for to visit the temples which are only a few minutes away and tuk tuks can take you to the night market and restaurant area for 2$

only minutes away from the major temples of Angkor Wat this is a really lovely hotel. the buffet breakfast was a bit of a let down, but other food at the hotel was pretty good. The spa treatments were good too and the staff there very friendly and helpful. Try the orange body scrub! Nothing was too much of an issue - we had no plans while in the area and the hotel arranged a tour guide for the temples and a car for the day at a very reasonable cost. they also organised a driver to take us to Phnom Penh ( 5-6 hours drive) at a cost of less than 1/3 of the cost charged by our travel agent. The hotel has a beautiful pool area and within easy access of the town of Siem Riep as well as the temples. A tuk tuk was about USD3 for 3 people to just about everywhere. A big thank you to the concierge staff who helped organise our tour and were really helpful with an itinerary and suggestions for the day.

Stayed there for a corporate retreat and team building. Hotel is in good shape and offers some good value for money. We used their meeting rooms and dining facilities a lot. Service is good and people really looked after us. The rooms are spacious but a bit old, but come at a good price. Food is good. On the downside, the hotel is getting a bit old and needs renovation. The gym is a bit small and smelly. Other than that good hotel for holiday or corporate retreat!

Room Tip: rooms to the courtyard are very quiet

We very much enjoyed our stay at Le Meridian. The check-in process was great. We were comfortably seated and brought cool towels and fresh juice while reception came to us with our paperwork. No standing at the counter which I though was a very special touch. The rooms were excellent, beds comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nothing too much trouble. The swimmingpool - what can I say - fabulous. We enjoyed the restaurant and they sure know how to make a pina colada. We will defenitely stay again if we ever go back and will look for more hotels run by this company

We spent two nights at this hotel while visiting the temples in Siem Reap. The hotel is out of the main town of Siem Reap by a 10 minute tuk tuk ride (about $3-$4). It was $5 from hotel to the airport for a tuk tuk. The hotel has a beautiful pool and fairly priced food and drink available at the pool. There is also a small spa and gym near the pool. Both were well kept up and very clean. We ate the breakfast buffet here one morning, it was $16/person. There was a wide selection of food, ranging from noodle soup, to bacon and cereal. We sat outside in the courtyard to eat which was very peaceful. Room was clean and what you would expect out of a standard hotel room. Grounds and common areas of hotel were beautiful. We had a pleasant stay, and we would return to this hotel if in Siem Reap again.

We picked the hotel based on the location. Being close to the temples makes for easier travel in the morning and as others have mentioned it was easy to get to town for dinner as well. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Royal Suite for our stay which was HUGE. The hotel was sold out so I suppose that someone had to get that room but I'm not sure how we got so lucky. The pool area is very nice and relaxing after a long day of visiting the temples. The hotel is mostly occupied by large tour groups that stay out later in the day than we did so we found the property relaxing in the late afternoon. The breakfast was not included in our room but we stayed since it was convenient. If there was someplace close we might have tried someplace else but when you are trying to get an early start this is easy. The staff was wonderful during our stay and everyone from the driver who picked us up at the airport to the person who checked us out of the hotel seemed to go out of their way to make our stay special. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed only for one night and glad for that. As a Platinium member I had free coffee and drinks from a menu in the bar at happy hour. There was a meeting with Japanese people and without these people the hotel looked almost empty. I had dinner in the Italian restaurant did order sirlion beef which was like chewinggum did change it to Fettucini w Mekong lobster in a lobster sauce. I had one lobster and 3 small shrimps and the sauce was made of Cream and tasted nothing of lobster. Rooms were quite big both no balcony. Had a pedicure and massage which I was very happy with.
