“Good place, for value.”
Reviewed January 3, 2012

This place is a big resort, but the service is great, we got upgraded because I requested it, not because I was on honeymoon. The first room we had was old fashioned, ugly tv, hard bed, not quite what we expected. After asking for the upgrade, which they gave me, because of Honeymoon, we changed to a similar room, but with better linen, plasma tv, and corner. Anyways, the pool is amazing, the breakfast buffet is pretty good, and it was cheap for the high season.
So I would stay again if the price was the same.

Great location and very nice rooms for Cambodia. The property is gorgeous. Although a fairly new property, parts of the facility already feel dated. The food was so-so. Paid $90 a person for a mandatory christmas eve dinner which was really not very good. Service was top notch.

Le Meridien is set about 7 minutes tuk tuk taxi ride from the town center of Siem Reap.

It's grounds are sprawling and perhaps because of that, apart from breakfast where the restaurant is full, the rest of the time, the hotel seem rather empty.

The pool is nice, and they have a spa which I didn't try. The gym is decent, although it's kinda small compared to other Starwood hotels I've been to.

The LM Angkor was one of the highlights of an extended trip to SE Asia. Beautiful resort property with gorgeous pool, spa, and public spaces. As a platinum member I was upgraded to a very spacious corner suite, a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet after the long days of exploring the many nearby temples. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they did a great job of arranging airport transportation, a tour guide who specialized in accompanying photographers, and everything else that I needed during my stay. I look forward to returning the next time I visit Siem Reap.

We were warmly welcomed at the hotel with a cool towel and refreshing drink. We were upgraded to a beautiful and very large corner suite. We thought the breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff couldn't have been friendlier or more efficient.

The guys at the concierge were very helpful with booking tours, suggesting restaurants and just general information about Siem Reap. They didn't try to upsell any tours or guides you didn't need. We were comfortable renting a tuk-tuk for the day after our first guided tour of the ruins and it was nice to have a concierge be honest with you instead of pushing packages.

We relaxed at the pool one afternoon and enjoyed a great lunch poolside. The location couldn't have been more convenient to the temples and is only a quick 2 buck tuk-tuk ride from Pub Street where you'll likely be having dinner every night.

We found our bed extremely comfortable and the cleaning staff was excellent. The front door guys were always so friendly and went out of their way to help you. The grounds of the hotel are lovely; the interior is well designed and appointed.

We have been traveling full-time for 3 years and stay at a lot of hotels. It says a lot when you can't find a thing to complain about.

Highly recommend.
