“the best in Siem Reap”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

It’s really more than what I can expect to stayed here . From the moment we stepped through the door the staff could not do enough to help us and make our stay a magical experience.
Beautiful room with well coverage of free wifi , Big nice terrace to the garden and swimming pool . The staffs even knows what I like for breakfast on my second day here .
The organized mortobike taxi team from Shinta Mani were very reliable , save us lots of energy of negotiating and avoid all the trouble dealing with .
I am kind of regret I didn’t buy the pillow from Shinta Mani , Its definitely the most comfortable pillow I have ever had in my life , would it be possible to order and buy the Shita Mani pillow on line ?

Room Tip: ground floor , garden view

We were fortunate enough to start our month-long honeymoon with 3 nights at the Shinta Mani and I can't begin to thank the staff for such a wonderful stay. The entire place...our room, the peppermint oil-burner infused hallways, various lotus flower displays (I love my flowers), lap pool, ah-MAZING day spa (I bitterly regret not visiting it more than once), heck even the bathrooms by the pool bar, were simply lovely and provided us with a much needed environment of calmness and beauty after a rather hectic preceding month.
I did not find the staff to be intrusively over-attentive, however we stayed at the original Shinta Mani not the newer, slightly larger one across the road so cannot comment on their staff. Instead we were provided with sensible advice on tours & sightseeing, smiles & much welcomed chilled hand towels upon every return to the hotel, and breakfast trays which were discreetly returned & an impromptu escort by the concierge to Angkor Wat when we changed our mind about food/tours...at 5am in the morning!
As I write this from another apparently '5-star' hotel in HCMC in which the bathroom in our room turns into a small lake every time we shower and the concierge- actually staff in general- are at the best disinterested, I can honestly say that you have set the bar far too high for our honeymoon already and my husband has forbidden me from saying "It's not as good as the Shinta Mani"/etc ever again.
There is no doubt we will be back to celebrate a wedding anniversary in future. Thank you again for making me feel like royalty every minute of every day :)

Stayed with family & friends at this hotel while in Siem Reap. You can smell this great flowering smell once you step into the compound.

Food is great but expensive though. Staff is really good especially Charlie who cater to our requests whenever we asked for something slightly different from the menu.

Pool is slightly small but I guess it's not a big hotel thus not require a big pool.

Overall, this hotel Is recommended...

Yes, it's a beautifully designed hotel. Yes, the pool is great and the restaurant is nice, and the rooms are lovely. But that doesn't make a good hotel. There were little niggles with the design - like the odd lighting control panel which meant only one of the two of you in bed could switch on the lights. But the main issue was the service. They are all very eager to please - far too eager. Sitting in the bar or the restaurant was a constant stream of staff asking if you wanted another drink - no communication between them. But it's the front of house that needs most attention - arriving in a vehicle, you are assaulted by a crowd of staff like a cloud of paparazzi - I counted eight round the vehicle once. There's no need for this. And even with all this attention, checking out was a slow and cumbersome process. Hotel Manager, step up and sort out your staff, to match your nice hotel.

In a wonderful location where you can walk into town to the Night Market and Pub Street, this piece of heaven is an absolute must to stay. The staff is stellar who want your experience to be considerate and graced. Their spa is worth a visit - as is their restaurant. We felt warmly welcomed every time we would return from our day trips and loved the quiet and elegance of the whole place and space.

Beautiful hotel with awesome service! It was a very relaxing stay, and the staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions. The decor around the hotel is beautiful, wonderful to be surrounded with. They have a salt water pool with great service, and the food is amazing! It's a very short walk to shopping and restaurants.

Just back from four nights in Siem Reap, loved every second!
The Shinta Mani is absolutely perfect, perfect location (ten mins walk to the night markets and pub street, restaurants etc). It's beautifully designed, decorated and maintained. Staff are the friendliest people and beyond helpful! They deserve recognition for catering to your every need and constantly checking everything is perfection. Loved the breakfast buffet selection and the pool side snacks were divine! We stayed in a room on the ground floor opening right up to the pool which is idyllic. We did the must do trip to see the sun rise over Angkor Watt and were pleasantly surprised that even at 5am there was coffee and warm croissants ready and waiting in reception for any guests struggling with the early wake up, like us :-)
We are lucky to have travelled a fair bit and stayed in some very nice hotels and resorts. Have to say Shinta Mani was exceptional and amazing value for money! Hope to go again soon! Fab!
