We were welcomed as soon as we arrived by lovely wet towels and a delicious carrot juice drink. All the staff without exception seem very happy here, and they love to take an interest in the travelers who visit. First impressions are very good, we love the stylishness of the decor, which is very modern and also acknowledges that we are in Siam Reap, and not just anywhere. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are totally luxurious and the staff including the management, could not be more friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Our room was delightful. We stayed on the first floor. If you are not good at stars, choose the gro...

We just got back from our Honeymoon in South East Asia where we stayed in some amazing 5 star hotels in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Cambodia. For service and quality of food the Shinta Mani won hands down. The staff at breakfast and on the concierge desk were fantastic and took a sincere and thoughtful approach where they often pre-empted our requirements before we had to ask. This was highly appreciated and was the only hotel where this happened on our trip.

Weirdly the only small negative was some of the middle management who weren’t able to match their staff’s own amazing level of sincerity. This was recovered brilliantly by the GM who was excellent. It is rare that you see such a visible and engaged GM who took such a personal stake ensuring his guests had a fantastic time

Echoing what has been said by other reviewers, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The design of the hotel is exquisite - very modern but still warm and welcoming, the restaurant is first-class (we particularly enjoyed the Khmer tasting menu in the evening and the wonderful breakfast options that can be enjoyed sitting on suspended sofas outside) and the staff are so impeccably friendly and charming that you never want to leave!!

I have been lucky enough to stay in some amazing hotels over the years (including the big-name luxury brands), but Shinta Mani is right up there with the big players. It would be impossible to fault my stay in any way whatsoever. The fact that you are making a valuable contribution to the lives of local people at the same time is the icing on the cake. I wish there were more hotels like this across the globe!

Great central yet quiet location, beautiful elegant sleek design, perfect staff, proactive and efficient in a truly relaxing atmosphere...
The breakfast (included) is of excellent quality and there is no bad surprises in the shintamani club. We were all under the charm....and can't wait to return.
wonderful sense of service, no hidden fees or small annoying scams, great
Also give the shintamani a few minutes of your time (although no one will push you to do so or ask anything) for a heartwarming experience

---> highly highly recommended, way better than other more expensive hotels in the area

Room Tip: quiet first floor

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was amazing and they couldn't do enough to make our visit pleasant. We booked tours through the hotel and had to change at the last minute due to illness and they had no problem moving our tours around for us. In addition the spa services were outstanding as were the practitioners. We also loved the fact that the hotel contributes to the community via training and employment. We visited their foundations farm and village and it was a wonderful and moving experience. I hate to leave and wish I had stayed longer. We also really loved having our breakfast in the swing on the front porch in the morning. We loved the design of the hotel and the rooms are so chic and comfortable. Also, the location is great. It's an easy tuk tuk ride or walk to the Old Center and a quick car ride to the sites.

Amazing design, ambiance, service, staff, location, and CSR!

Shinta Mani is home to me. I've stayed here on multiple occasions either for business or to visit the beautiful city of Siem Reap with friends/family. The hotel has two wings with two different feels and designs that still incorporates one identity. You can not take in everything the hotel has to offer in just one stay.

The staff is very tentative and friendly. The GM, Christian, is very kind and humorous. I've recommended many friends and family members to stay here whenever they are in Siem Reap and have heard of great responses.

Staying here also helps support many local causes initiated by the hotel brand. Shinta Mani provides waterwells to provinces around Cambodia, provides free education, to those underprivileged, in hospitality, and support many events to raise awareness for local talents and NGOs/groups.

For such a young hotel, Shinta Mani is sure attracting a lot of attention.

I stayed at the Shinta Mani Club 8,9 + 10th November with my husband - at the start of a weeks holiday in Cambodia - frankly the hospitality, pastries and cocktails were without comparison for the remainder of the week : ) This is an exceptional hotel , staffed by truly exceptional people - can't emphasise that strongly enough. The guest room we had was on the top floor overlooking the pool, well designed and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding especially taken on the giant hanging daybeds - great space to plan the day ahead ! Trips, recommendations on dinner locations all came up trumps this team truly know their neighbourhood. We really look forward to returning.
