Went based on strength of previous reviews though had not seen the most recent review that mentioned lack of atmosphere.
As the last report says, the food was very good/excellent. The service was slow. This seemed related to the problem that we were seated upstairs but the drinks and food had to be brought upstairs via the same external stairway we used to go upstairs.
The service was charming but slow and it was not as though the place was busy, as it was not. So, had it been busier would it all have been slower stii, verging on unacceptable?
We tried several of the salads as appetisers plus spring rolls. All were excellent. A beef stir fry was a good entree choice but the star was the Kmer roasted chicken that was superb. It was worth the wait.
The main conclusion is that they ought to manage time expectations better.
Overall then it rates as very good but it could be better still and this would draw larger crowds that in turn would improve the atmosphere, and it is spacious enough that accommodating more people would not be a problem.
