Our stay in Cambodia was trully unforgettable. What a country and above all, what a fantastic people. And part of these great memories are from the days that we stayed at "Borei Angkor". The hotel has all the ameneties of a 4 / 5 Stars hotel. But what makes this hotel unforgettable is the extraordinary, friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Right at the moment of our check in we realized that we were in excellent hands. We were greeted by Mr. Sokhemra Khoun (Assistant Front Office Manager) who treated all our affairs with great efficiency. Although we arrived too early from Phnom Phen, we could go to our rooms to get some rest before the first visit to Angkor. Mr. Khoun also was in charge to get us the visas to Vietnam, and they were delivered to us in less than 48 hours. I think this information might be important for those who wish visit Vietnam. The visa costs around US$ 50. Since Angkor is very large and tremendously hot we ask Mr. Khoun a car with a driver. And now I must also mention another person: Mr. Sophal, our driver, our companion, our protector during our stay. His sympathy, his politeness always with a discret smile were wonderful. Every time that we arrived at the car coming from a sweltering heat, Mr. Sophal always had the blessed cold towels and lots of fresh water to drink. But what has fascinated us more was that they make us feel that we were the most important guests of the hotel. I call this simple perfection. To all who wish to visit Angkor I highly recommend this hotel. To the staff of "Borei Angkor". To people of the Kingdom of Cambodia my congratulations. Many thanks.

We are a family of 5 with children aged 10, 12 & 14 and stayed 7 nights in September. For all of us the Borei Angkor suited our needs very well. We tended to start our days in Seim Reap with an early breakfast (great variety and good quality) , then go out to the temples or floating vollage etc . We would return to the hotel around 11 when it got too hot and spend the rest of the day around the excellent pool: swimming, having lunch, relaxing with a massage or simply pretending to read and falling asleep. Later we would take a Tuk tuk into town and go shopping and have dinner. There were always friendly and helpful Borei tuk tuk drivers in their green vehicles outside the hotel at very reasonable prices: $3 for 5 of us to go into town.
Everyone we dealt with at the resort was delightful - friendly in that understated Cambodian manner. All staff, from the cleaners through to the managers, were always ready with a smile and the traditional Sampeah.
The food was consistenly good and feshly prepared and the rooms clean and well maintained. We had 'cheaper' rooms which did not overlook the pool but we found this far more interesting as we had views across the real Cambodia. Even when we had sick children, the clean up was calmly and effieciently dealt with.
I would highly recommend Borei Angkor to others looking for somewhere to relax away from the hustel and bustle of daily life.

This was our first trip to Cambodia. We didn't know what to expect. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only did our hotel room match the pictures on the hotel website but the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Room service and Reception staff were efficient and pleasant at all times. We were especially charmed by their traditional uniforms. Our 2-way airport transfers were timely and fuss free. The hotel lobby smelled good all the time. My only complaint - buffet breakfast had variety but not necessarily quality. The waffles were hard, baked beans crunchy and noodles extremely salty but the rest of the food was good. I will definitely use this hotel again.
