We spent 3 days at the Hotel Angkor. The service was wonderful and the staff very accommodating. The pool and pool bar were beautiful although service was a little slow at times. The spa was terrific and very available. All of those in our small group used the spa and a number of different treatments.
The rooms were large and quite adequate.
Excellent and varied buffet breakfast and dinner service.

Room Tip: Any room was good.

Borei Angkor Resort & Spa has so many grate things including rooms, amenity, pool, so on. But the gratest thing is it`s hospitality.
When I looking for the shop for cigarette, Mr Dawind teach me the way for the shop so kindly and also he told me a lot of valuable tips. All of staffs were so kind to me.
I would like to come with my family next time.

I stayed at the Borei as part of an organized group tour. I did not experience any of the negative comments in the Average rating section. The grounds and lobby are elegant. Our rooms were well appointed. It met all our expectations and more. We did have some problems with room keys not working, and a safe that didn't work, but the service was excellent and these issues were dealt with promptly. I liked the buffet with so many choices and some change in selections from one day to the next.

We stayed at this Hotel for four days in February and I cannot find anything negative to write about it.The room was perfect, Silk dressing gowns were provided instead of the usual towelling ones .
The staff were incredible, efficient and courteous , exquisitely attired in silk uniforms .
The food in the Restaurant was of a high standard and catered for every nationality as did the breakfast. We never had to queue for breakfast or Dinner
We preferred to get around by Tuk Tuk instead of an air conditioned car, the hotel have Tuk Tuk drivers waiting outside .
Our driver for two days was Mr Somat ( Tuk Tuk number 4) he couldn't have been more friendlier and polite and we would thoroughly recommend him.
We were aware before we booked that there is an ongoing refurbishment being carried out on the new Lobby but this was not a problem , it didn't detract from the beauty of the building and was not detrimental to our stay.
There is a business section with a bank of laptop computers with internet access available free of charge 24 hours a day for all guests.
The swimming pool has a Jacuzzi section , it was immaculately maintained and was surrounded by lots of comfortable beds and loungers with a plentiful supply of clean towels.
I would like to compliment the manager on such a well run establishment.
Thank you.

The hotel is undergoing renovation but despite this, it was quite enough. The staff was quite helpful in every way. The breakfast spread was quite good and a variety was excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Yes, we do recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: higher floors have better views and you hear less of the activities below.

Stayed 1week here while visiting the temples.

The hotel is under a major renovation (face lift) and I see that this will improve the entrance. We where not disturbed at all during our stay from this.

Location is ok, 15 min walk into shops and food.

Nice rooms that does not reach the top level.

Best of all is the service.

A recommendation is to use a tuktuk to see the town. We used the one outside the hotel (number 11 that belong to the hotel) the driver was great and speaks good English (+855 12505736 call him!).

In total we had a great week there.

Dear PartickB5,

Greetings from Siem Reap, the kingdom of wonder - Cambodia!

I am glad to read that you have enjoyed a one-week stay with Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. On behalf of the entire team and myself, I would like to sincerely thank you very much for your kind comments about the location of the resort and the excellent service provided by our local talents.

We are sorry that the room standard does not meet your expectation. As the matter of fact, we will not rest and we will do everything we could to raise our standards to a much higher level. As you mentioned, the new entrance which is part of our beautiful new lobby is in under progress. The renovation will be completed in April 2013 - that will make the resort a much more beautiful one.

The "Remorks" (tuk tuk is in Thai) do not belong to us, but we have been doing our best to work with them, to train them to understand service excellence and to be able to provide good services to our customers/residents. I am glad you enjoyed that service.

Once again, thank you very much for taking your time to share with our readers about your experiences. Thank you for choosing us as the home away from home while you visiting Siem Reap and the Angkor Complex.

Looking forward to the opportunity to welcoming you back in the very near future, and very soon.

Very best,
Nara Thon

We just arrived from our stay at the Privilege Floor of Borei Angkor and normally i would not write a review but this time i just had to.
The staff in this hotel is superb.... service is excellent and they all made us feel so welcome.
Sean welcomed us at the airport was very friendly and always with a ready smile. Jacky who is as friendly and accommodating attended to our every request. Mr. Suknam at the lounge called us by our first names and Mr. Say who prepared our complimentary Picnic lunch was very efficient and of course friendly. The whole staff of the privilege floor was exceptional because they made you feel they loved what they were doing.. which is making their guest feel special and at the same time relaxed.
You need not worry about transfers... or tour guide and car... cold water the whole day while out in the hot Cambodia sun... refreshment because the minibar is complimentary too!... and massage too!.... they have that covered and all you have to do is book with the Privilege Floor and they will attend to like Royalty.
BTW, we were upgraded to the Royal Suite and the room was insanely huge with a jacuzzi in the bathroom, a dining table that can sit 6, a living room and a small kitchen plus a powder room.
Another plus is fresh towels always!
My only suggestion is, i hope they improve the breakfast and food during cocktail choices in the lounge on the Privilege Floor.
