After looking at a few hotels this stood out to us with the pool at the frount. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a family room with one double and one single (still big). Great room with en suite. Housekeeping were great. Good location to main area, 10 mins walk or 2 mins tuk tuk.
Breakfast buffet included with omelette station.
Overall we loved this hotel.

Friendly staff who spoke good English, clean room, comfortable bed, good free breakfast. Also appreciated the little lock box in the room. Dinner/lunch menu was good and decent price. Will definitely send my friends their when they come to visit.

We have booked for a 2nights stay in this hotel and it was indeed a very unforgettable experience. We find the hotel was clean & all the staff are very friendly..they also assist us to book our transfer and the tours. Our guide was was very good and he was very patient to us! Only one thing..when travelling from Poipet border, please beware of the taxi scam..the Van should not cost more than USD65)..

We originally booked 6 nights to stay. After the first 3 days we decided to stay an extra 11 nights. The staff is great and very friendly. Great breakfast and awesome swimming pool. 5 min from angkor market and lucky mall. 20 min walk to night market. Would stay here again because of the friendly staff

I spent four nights at the Banyan Leaf after a less than stellar experience in Phnom Penh and this is where I will stay when I return. The hotel is not large but that adds to its charm. The staff know who you are and more importantly to me you know who everyone is. I didn't want to stay in a Disney sized hotel full of tourists.
The pool area is tranquil and stunningly beautiful. Poolside bar and food service was prompt and courteous which was sorely needed after spending hours climbing the temples at Angkor Wat in the May heat. I didn't have a balcony room so the view was non existent but it was clean and had the requisite safe. Honestly the lobby and lounge of the Banyan Leaf were so enjoyable that I didn't miss the view whatsoever.
This hotel is located on a street that runs parallel to the primary commercial strip in Siem Reap. The Night Markets, Koulen Restaurant and Lucky Mall are within a five minute walk. If you'd prefer not to walk there are always Tuk Tuk drivers ready to take you where you need to go. My suggestion would be to get the staff to procure a Tuk Tuk; they are happy to do so.
When I return to Siem Reap (and who wouldn't after visiting there) I will definitely stay at the Banyan Leaf. You'll find me in the pool drinking $1.50 bottles of Angkor and reflecting on the wonder of Angor Wat.

Room Tip: There is no elevator so if climbing is an issue get a room on the first floor. The stair case is ve...

From the very first moment, we felt welcome and pampered with impeccable hospitality. We cannot praise the staff enough! It was like staying with family and we were always reassured that someone was on call to satisfy our smallest to greatest need, without compromising our privacy. We were sad to leave the warm smiles and needless to say, did not come across such a high standard of service and warmth in all of our travel in Cambodia. We would absolutely come back to stay here again and highly ! Thank you for having us as your guests!
