We put this restaurant on our list after reading Trip Advisor before leaving Australia. Went there on August 4 and were not disappointed. Met the owners (Chin and Nay Botum), and their two young girls Lucy and Lisa. Easy to find, right in the middle of the Siem Reap Art Centre Market a short walk from Pub Street. Hard working Chin spoke unbelievably good English and we enjoyed a serious talk about Cambodian politics and the anticipated election results on August 14, amongst other things. Chin has a great vision for Cambodia. He is very passionate about his country, working two jobs to give his children a good education and a reasonable standard of living. Good luck Chin and Nay, it was lovely to meet you and we wish you every success for the future.

Ate here after wandering through the night market with friends. It was a little hidden so stumbled on it by accident.
Ordered the Khmer grill which came with a side salad, this was enough for a light dinner. It was delicious and the seasoning on the steak was amazing! My only negative comment was the food took quite a while to come, but on the positive all my tables food came was ready and came out at the same time (this is uncommon for restaurants in Cambodia).
If you'd prefer somewhere away from pub street as well this is definitely for you, just venture into the night market and you'll find it.

Having ate there at least 10 times during my stay in Siem Reap, I found the food wonderful as well as the staff. it was a pleasing family enviroment with a local traditional dance being held every evening in full view from my dining table. it don't get better than this, the price is right. a great evening is provided here.

We ate here twice. The first time we wander in this place was when we were buying some souvenirs. They offered a 1usd fruit shake which was a surprised. We ordered some beer and ate dinner too. The atmosphere was great and the waiters were superbly friendly and helpful. The next day we decided to drop by before taking our flight. This time we ordered the chicken amok and fish amok- a local delicacy which is a must try. It’s very palatable and worth every penny.

My sister and I absolutely loved this place. No real reason but a mixture of the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and the cheap food and drinks made it a really nice place to go for dinner. Every night there is also a free dance show at the stage that is set up right next to it. We had no idea until we were surprised by the lovely show. Seems to start between 7 and 8.

The staff are very friendly and always made sure we were comfortable; for example: turning the fan on next to us when they could see we were getting a little too warm.

Most of the food is $3 and you can get mugs of anchor starting at $0.75, although I did go for the cans of Angkor for a dollar a piece as they tasted slightly fresher.

All of the different dishes we had were very good - I would recommend the squid with green pepper and rice. Really tasty and again, only $3.

We tried the cocktails too (quite a few...) which are also $3 each. Really tasty and fresh again.

You can see them cooking your food in their outdoor kitchen which gives it that lovely laid back feel.
