Stay 3 nights without much complaints. With only 78 rooms, we felt very cosy enjoying great breakfast, the swimming pool and gym. Staff is very friendly with dedicated tuks tuks on standby to take us to town which is less than 10 mins away. We used the same tuk tuk driver for 3 days because he can speak enough english to become our tourguide.
Excellent customer experience were shown when the sales manager herself need to send us to the airport in the company Lexus because all the other vechicles were used up. What more can you ask. You must stay here to enjoy everything.

Room Tip: book the room facing the pool which may cost more.

Stayed for 3 nights here and it was great! Free airport transportation, clean rooms, nice shower, good balcony, nice situated pool/pool beds, very good breakfast and very tasty diner (best noodles of my whole vacation), and the best part: the people were incredibly nice and kind! The location is a bit out of town, but only 5min by tuk-tuk (no shortage of those); and it is in my opinion better than a hotel on pub street.

First impression was great - we were offered free airport transfer to the hotel and as soon as we stepped out of the airport, we were greeted by a patient and courteous member of staff from the hotel, who had been standing waiting for an hour or so (our flight was delayed). We were given cold (scented) towels with water in the car which was a nice touch. On the way to the hotel, we were given a brief introduction of our surroundings and location of the hotel.

Upon arrival, we were offered another cold towel and welcoming drinks.

Our room was bright and had a lovely balcony facing the pool, and although not huge, it was big enough to house a King size bed, a dressing table, a sofa and a good size wardrobe. The room was always kept clean and tidy for us, and we are given daily provisions of bottled water.

There is a good selection of breakfast options (western/Asian), although it would be nice to have fresh fruit juices, and if the pancakes/waffles are served hot rather then lukewarm.

The staff in general were helpful and polite, and spoke fairly good English (compared to other hotels we stayed at in SE Asia). Throughout our stay we had approached the Concierge for various services and the requests were all dealt with swiftly and courteously. The tuk tuk drivers are lovely too - although they only speak basic English, the ones we had were polite, punctual and always greeted us with smiles.

Location of the hotel - although it's not walking distance to town, the hotel has a team of tuk tuk drivers on hand to drive hotel guests into town (about 10 min ride) for about 2 USD each way. It is close to the Angkor National Museum (about 5 min tuk tuk ride), and the Angkor Wat (about 10min drive), as well as the airport (about 15min drive).

As for criticisms, our biggest one was perhaps out of the control of the hotel - every morning around 4-5am during our stay, morning prayers/chanting would be broadcast through the loudspeakers which sounded as if they were hoisted right next to the hotel! The chanting seemed to last for half the day, sometimes the whole day. On the first day we literally gave up on going back to sleep after being woken up by the chanting, but a few days after we were so tired after a full day's outing we just slept through it. I have no idea if this is a frequent occurrence, and when I told the hotel staff at reception they didn't seem to understand what I was saying. However I would suggest the hotel to inform their guests of the times of such prayers (if there is a schedule), and perhaps provide ear plugs to their guests.

Our second minor criticism was about the access card - for some reason for the first two days of our stay our access card was deactivated the next morning. However each time the staff at the Concierge dealt with our issue swiftly - when we called them from our floor they offered to take the new access card up to our room, saving us a trip to the Concierge.

Room Tip: top level rooms give you a nice view of the surrounding rice paddy fields

Dear I_H_Hayler,

Thank you for your comments.
We are pleased to be able to serve you during your stay.
We are delighted that most of our services meet your satisfaction.

We regret for not being able to notify you of the noise disturbance resulting from chanting of a funeral of our neighbor. It is an unfortunate event, yet a religious and traditional practice of mourning a deceased at home. We did try to request the family to tune down the volume and turn the megaphone's direction away from our hotel, but we too respect their rights to religious practice. The incidence was beyond our control. You can be assured that this is just a one-off life event and not a daily practice, as we do not have any religious establishment nearby.

For the keycard, because it is magnetic it's prone to interference by other high frequency devices like mobile phones and electronics. Our reception will ensure that this information is clearly communicated to our residents to mitigate the problem.

One again, thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your valuable time to comment.

We look forward to serving you again.

From the moment we arrived we knew we'd made a good decision to stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very well maintained and charming.

The location is convenient for visits to the ruins, and only a $2 tuk tuk ride into town. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant was convenient (and good) for lunches and dinners (we recommend the Asian dishes, but not so much the deserts).

There's a nice big pool which was great for relaxing after a day exploring the temples, and there are also plenty of poolside reclining seats for sunbathing.

We were spoilt with a cake, sweets and special decorations on our bed as the hotel staff new it was our honeymoon.

The hotel offers an airport transfer which is quite convenient.

We highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 2nd-4th floors facing the swimming pool at the best.

Location: Not in the "downtown" area, but easy tuk-tuk ride away.

Hotel: Beautiful lobby, pool, and rooms. Can't complain about anything here.

Service: The best we've ever had at a hotel. Everyone from the drivers, concierge, bellmen, wait staff, and the maids were excellent. The hotel keeps tuktuks on standby for guests.

Food: The restaurant's Cambodian food is great (as is the breakfast).

I knew we made the right choice as soon as we were met at the airport by their staff with warm and welcoming smiles. The transport van was new and comfortable. Check-in was quick and effortless despite our late arrival. The hotel and the rooms are beautiful and always CLEAN. It is not exactly walking distance to/from city centre but there were always rides available. The meals were delicious and varied, including the complimentary breakfast. Every member of the staff was sincerely eager to please and accommodate our requests. Kudos to Sor Sopheap for his leadership and example.

This is probably one of the nicest places we stayed at throughout the whole of our 6 months in SE Asia. The service was simply wonderful, with the lovely Sopheap, being there when we were collected from the airport, all the way through to the end of our stay. We were assisted kindly with any requests we had, had any questions answered, they helped with bookings & all of the amazing staff at this hotel went over & above to make this a great stay. The young gentleman that is supervisor, I cannot remember his name is also wonderful & helped us so much, we got stranded in Battambang & he actually went out of his way to coordinate with our hotel in Battambang & assist us in getting back to Siem Reap to the hotel.
I can't praise this place enough. Give it a go yourself & you will see what I mean!
The breakfast is great with a huge selection & great restaurant staff. The lunches & dinners, wow! Awesome tasty western food if you feel like a touch of home as well.
When we got up to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat, they prepared a breakfast box which I thought was nice too.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The shower is great, with great water pressure & consistent temperature. The hotel is quite new so everything there is really nice.
The only thing I would warn about is the tuk tuk drivers, they seem to pretend not to hear or understand English sometimes when it's convenient. It's hard to get the point across when you don't want them to wait for you. For example, one of them waited when we didn't ask him too & then charged us heaps extra as we hadn't agreed on a price. So make sure you get your message across! We had a few that spoke very little English so make sure the hotel is very clear in telling them on where you are going & your requirements. This is only some of the drivers though, the rest were great & the hotel always conveniently has tuk tuks available even though they are a few minutes out of the main part of town. It's so wonderful here though, that I didn't care that it was a short tuk tuk ride to get in or out of town. I don't like to be anywhere too noisy & it was quite close to the temples.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Cabana deluxe room & it was well worth the money.
