“must go there !!!”
Reviewed June 21, 2014

This restaurant is simply the best I've been in Cambodia so far. The place is lovely, opens on a beautiful garden. They have a short but excellent selection. The food is wonderful, and balance of the different tastes is perfect! We had a banana flower salad and an excellent fish amok. Everything was great. The service is really attentive, and we enjoy a brief chat with the chief. Try the "lemon tart" for the desert....really amazing !

“Great value, delicious food, must try.”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

It is my fourth time in Siem Reap and definitely tried my fair share of restaurants. Mie Cafe is definitely a Top 3 for me. The staff were attentive, the ambiance was great (surrounded by lush vegetation and quiet environment), and the food was excellent. Food presentation and taste really showed the chef cared about serving the best to the customer. It was really delicious!

Price wise. Appetizer ranged from $3-$6. Entrees, about $6, up to around $10. It's a little bit more costly than other places in Siem Reap, but the value far exceeded the price. The staff were also wonderful, often checking to make sure you were doing okay.

Location. It's across from Sofitel Hotel. If you're coming from downtown Siem Reap, you will pass by Sofitel on your left, immediately after, you show take a right onto the side street. Mie Cafe is the second restaurant on the left. 30 secs after you make the turn.

We arrived at Mie Cafe last Thursday night and had an amazing experience. Innovative young chef and excellent food.
No other place in Siem Reap is like this restaurant.

“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed June 12, 2014 via mobile

We were recommended here by Paul at Haven when we couldn't get a table there on a walk-in.

We were so pleased that we got on a tuk tuk to find our way here! So much so, we dined here twice in our 4 day stay.

Service is attentive, food freshly prepared in a professional looking kitchen and food is divine!

The key lime frozen pie is to die for.

Definitely worth a trip. Jump on Tuk tuk from Pub Street, it'll cost you $2.50 (they'll try to tell you $3 but you tell them no $2, you might get away with $2, but $2.50 at most)

The tuna tartar is a must for seafood lovers.

If the tuk tuk driver doesn't know where, tell them to turn right at the Sofitel hotel (which will be on your left, coming from Pub Street) just after the Regency Angkor Hotel on your right. You will see Mie Cafe on your left as you turn onto this quiet street.

“Wonderful ”

Had a lovely evening here a few nights ago. Get away from pup street and you will be rewarded. The food is wonderful, beautifully presented as is the garden setting.
