This restaurant was worth walking in the rain looking for it. Most tuktuk drivers did not know where it was. The food was excellent and it was nice and small and quiet. Staff here very friendly. The amok was amazing. We also enjoyed some Cambodian liquers.

We discovered this restaurant 10 minutes walk away from our hotel the Tara Angkor. The food was so delicious that we went two nights in a row. We recommend the fish in sweet and sour sauce and the chocolate cake. We also had several other dishes all of which proved to be well cooked, beautifully presented and tasty. The waitresses are attentive and smiley and although the prices were higher than other restaurants it still represented good value for money.

We stayed at the Tara Angkor hotel and researched restaurant nearby on TripAdvisor It came up with Mie Cafe. It is tucked away in a dark side street 25 m from the main Angkor Wat road . The service was excellent. The food was very tasty and well presented . The chef, Pola even came around the tables to enquire if we had enjoyed our meal. We feel we have to mention the chips! They were declared perfect. We even risked becoming a parody of Englishness and ordered an extra portion.
We heartily recommend this place to eat after a hard day sight seeing at Angor Wat

Delicious food, lovely setting, helpful staff, chef made the rounds at diner tables, and really reasonable prices.

This restaurant has 12 outdoor tables under a traditional Cambodian house. Decor is simple, elegant & overlooking a pond and garden. Ceiling fans kept us cool & kept bugs away.

Fish Amok (6.50 USD) and chicken curry (6.00) served w rice followed deep fried chicken spring rolls (3.50) (very large spring roll serving size).

Chilean El Emperador cab Carmenere ($18) complimented nicely.

Mango and sticky rice (4) completed our meal. Yum!

The restaurant is just off Charles de Gaulle, across from the Sofitel, also walking from the Meridian and Tara Angkor, em route from town to or from Angkor Wat.

My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant!

We were recommended to Mie Cafe by the Maître'd at Haven Training Restaurant. The food was amazing! With subtle flavours and textures. For entree we shared the crab chowder, the wonton soup and salmon tartare. Which were all delightful. The salmon tartare accompanied simply with fresh mango and lime juice was a highlight.

For mains we also shared the sweet and sour grilled fish, fish amok and the chicken yellow curry. All were outstanding especially the chicken curry with the perfect combination and balance of rich and creamy flavours. The fish was also perfectly cooked.

After two of us were too full one couldn't not resist desert. He had Banaba and mango sombai coconut ice cream.

After such a great night what really made it special was that the chef came out to great the tables. He was kind enough to recommend other great spots and tip for food around Siem Reap.

But make sure you book!!
