My boyfriend and I found this hotel on Trip Advisor whilst staying in Phnom Penh and booked to stay for 6 nights. I can honestly say that this is the friendliest place I have ever stayed at before and has provided better service than every single 4 / 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in. For only $12 per night this includes breakfast (the banana pancake is amazing) two bottles of water, air con, hot water, wifi, tea & coffee and a wealth of assistance throughout your stay. the food is also very cheap and authentic! i do not believe that you can find anywhere else that is of better value. Mr Lucky dropped us off to places free of charge and always helped organise our trips. He even took us to a beautiful pool down the road and got us a discount so we paid $4 each for the day! Saphorn was also extremely helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Other places we have stayed at whilst travelling have charged over $20 and have not even come near to this kind of service or facilities. We have learnt a lot about Cambodian culture from the staff and when I mentioned I would like to try snake the manager went and got some for me that evening! The cleaners are excellent and the laundry service is also very cheap and efficient. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of this place! Thank you Angkor Secret Garden Hotel!

Me and my girlfriend found Angkor Secret Garden Inn on TripAdvisor and decided to stay there for 6 nights and we are so pleased we did.
The hotel is set in a lovely location, (about a 10 minute walk from Pub Street and the night market) and the staff are the friendliest people we have ever stayed with.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for either Lucky or Saphorn and we really enjoyed our stay. They were always willing to give advise and arrange things for you to do as well as giving us a free lift one day.

The value for money is exceptional and they really care about you and your stay in Siem Reap. Every member of staff takes pride in their job and helping you out - something most places just don't offer!

The rooms are cleaned daily and they have a fridge and provide free water everyday - a really nice touch. Breakfast is included and all the food at the restaurant is very good and well priced.

We loved staying here and it has definitely been the best place we've stayed in Asia. Don't hesitate to book here, you won't be disappointed!

An incredible place. The food is spectacular, inpecable cleaning and an unbeatable location. We came to pick tuk tuk to the bus station for free, when we got to the hotel we were greeted with a welcome breakfast. Lucky, the receptionist, is a very helpful, friendly, and always willing to help in any way we needed.

Would you recommend this place and would return to staying if returning to Cambodia.

Secret Garden outdid itself in terms of my expectations... I was travelling solo and out of the country for the first time and I did my hotel booking based on tripadvisor reviews and I had my own reservations...
This place, regardless of the cost outdid a lot of places in terms of service. Mr. Lucky the manager was one of the.most helpful people I have come across- from ensuring that I get a pick up when I reach siem reap..to bus bookings to tour guides and even my special food requests...he took care of everything...
The staff is friendly and pleasant. The rooms and surroundings extremely clean and hygienic. Good WiFi connectivity A safe area overall.
A definite thumbsup for this place!

We stayed here for 6 nights. It offers great value for your money. It is tucked away in a small alley away from the main road. It's very "secret" and quiet. The only thing that you'll hear at night are the sounds of the gecko near your room. The room is spacious for 2 persons with fan and air-con. It offers cable TV in the room, a good sized attached bathroom with hot water and free access to Wi-Fi. The pub street is within walking distance. You can always eat your dinner at the restaurant in the hotel premises and then head down to Pub Street to join in the happenings!
The staffs can speak decent English which is good and above all the their smiles greeted you whenever you bump into them!
Breakfast is offered each morning with a mix of English or Asian food. It suffice to last you till the afternoon.

The hotel is located in Siem Reap, not far from Pub Street (5 minutes with tuk tuk, 15 minutes by foot).
Not in the main street (100 m), it is quiet with big and clean rooms with a/c. The bathroom is small.
There is a pleasant garden in front of the rooms.

There is a restaurant in the patio, good food and good price. There is also a billiard table.
They prepare for you the breakfast early in the morning (5.30 a.m.) if you want to go to the Angkor Wat to see the sunset.

Hi Davide,

Thanks for you review of Angkor Secret Garden. However, we are sad to see that you have rated us so low by giving us a three (3) star average even though you gave us a positive review.

At USD12.00 per room per night for your period of stay, was inclusive of breakfast and the room is equipped with
a) air-conditioner,
b) fan
c) cable tv
d) hot shower
e) toiletries
f) mini fridge
g) free wi-fi
h) coffee and tea served all day long,
i) free usage of the pool table and
j) free usage of the computers in the computer room.
but we were only rated Three(3) Stars for Value.

The cook even got up very early in the morning before 5a.m. to cook the free breakfast specially for you.

If at all you have any dissatisfaction regarding our service, kindly drop us an email at info@angkorsecretgardenhotel.com. We hope to learn from you to further improve our service..

Thank you for choosing to stay at Angkor Secret Garden.

Impossible to find something better for this budget !!! Great staff and facilities... They managed and booked our taxis and buses... Clean and big rooms, A/C, plenty of bathroom amenities, fantastic breakfast... for less than 10 € /night 2 pax !!

Perhaps not a perfect location, but of course this is not a problem compared with all the advantages it has...

Absolutely recommended!!
