Description: Marum features a winning mix of creative local cuisine, and is named after the Moringa, or 'Tree of life' - very appropriate, as customers will be enjoying a fantastic dining experience that helps build a new life for the students in training there!

This wonderful dining spot was located close to our hotel. Food, atmosphere and service was fantastic...staff were young locals learning the restaurant business so teachers were there supervising everything they did. Food was tasty and really innovative. Highly recommend!

We had the best meals in Siem Reap there. This is a restaurant run by Friends International, which aims to educate street kids in the hospitality arts. At this one they have succeeded really well. It's tucked awy in a back street between Wat Polanka and the Catholic chirch, and a bit hard to find, but worth hunting down. Nothing fancy, but each dish really tasty and well presented. Small but adequate wine list, Six of us ate well, with 2 bottles of wine, for $US100 total. Yoiu can eat cheaper in SR, but not as well.

Both the setting and the meals we shared were really nice but probably the best thing was knowing that we were contributing just a little bit to help some young people to get a better chance in life.

We went to Friends to Phnom Penh twice as we were in PP and liked it so much that we decided to give its "sister's restaurant" a go. The environment is beautiful and the staff is welcoming, kind and eagger to learn and to please you. We were less impressed by the food however than what we had at Friends. It was good but just lacking a bit of a kick. Maybe we just did not pick well! It is still a lovely place worth trying.

Not so cheap , and the food not anything special , the staff very nice and friendly , but just because it is aet up as a training venue doesnt justify the prices .
