“Great value for money”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

The hotel is about 2- miles (5-7 minutes by tuk tuk) from the central area of "pub street". The rooms are large and comfortable but some shelter from mosquitos would be useful (e.g. a net above the bed). The cleaning is far from good, although above East Asian standards. The breakfast is varied and plentiful but the dining room is very warm and full of mosquitoes. The staff is extremely friendly. Overall, would recommend it.

The service was excellent from start to finish. We arrived by coach and the hotel happily arranged a pick up. They were also happy to provide us with an airport drop off service free of charge. Staff were always helpful and very friendly with a good level of English. Food was tasty with a great selection of food.
Pool was beautiful. Staff very helpful in arranging tours.
Absolutely no complaints, excellent service and I am usually hard to please! Would definitely recommend this beautiful resort. Ten out of ten!

Stayed here on a recommendation from a friend who'd stayed here earlier this year (2014). This was a great value for the money. We were greeted with a lovely beverage and a chilled washcloth - after a long day traveling from Sihanoukville, both were well appreciated.

Our room overlooked out to the pool which was a nice view. We didn't have time to use the pool but I walked around and it was really nice! We were on the 2nd floor which had construction on the other wing but we only heard the noise when getting off the elevator. Once we were in our room, we heard nothing from construction or neighbors.

Liked the "rainshower" showerhead in the bathroom and appreciated the strong water pressure. The entire bathroom was set up nicely.

The bed was comfortable - maybe the most comfortable of our 2 week stay in Cambodia. The air conditioning made the room nice and cool.

It was a $3 tuk tuk ride to the Pub Street area where we dined and shopped. We had breakfasts in the hotel and the noodle soup was quite tasty! We rented tuk tuks for the day to visit the temples and that was about $15 which included them providing us with cold water as well. Given that it was really hot, that cold water felt lifesaving.

The hotel was quiet which was great. Friends went to the spa and received massages, I wish we'd thought to do so as well. I'd return again!

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the garden area or pool.

We arrived late into Siem Reap and checking into the hotel was no problem however, when we got into our room we were very disappointed. The room was very dark even with all the lights on and very sparsely furnished - almost as if someone had stolen half the furniture. The bathroom was very dated and dubious stains in and around the toilet. The pillows were kind of yellowed and we found a big splattered mosquito on the wall. The view from the room was of the main road from the front of the hotel - after a restless night's sleep as a result of all the traffic noise we asked the front desk if we could change rooms. Thankfully, they allowed us to change rooms to one overlooking the pool and breakfast area. New room was much better and had obviously been updated compared to the previous room...although for ages I couldn't find the main light switch - it was actually hidden behind the flat screen tv - go figure!? From then the stay was fine - 4 nights at a reasonable price, breakfast was basic - ok for the price and we visited the spa. Massages were a bit expensive but nonetheless, very relaxing. The best part of this stay and hotel are the concierge - extremely informative and friendly. Special mention to Sambath Soun the Assistant Resident Host Manager - without her helping us arrange our tours to the temples and bike rentals our holiday wouldn't be half as amazing. She also helped us arrange our bus tickets to Phnom Penh and was the most genuine and friendly person at the hotel!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are brighter and quieter

I had a deluxe twin room with a balcony overlooking the lush garden. At 6am I was awoken by these wonderfully hypnotic sounds that must have come from the temple, Wat Kesararam.

Very clean and minimal style with friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend a stay here - nice pool outside.

We stayed here while touring the temples of Angkor What. A high class hotel with a good restaurant, pool, bar, a friendly helpful staff, large clean rooms and tv with english speaking stations. Close to Pup street, the night market and Angkor What.

During our honeymoon, we arrived at Lotus Blanc without a reservation because our previous hotel had disappointed and we needed to find a decent hotel. We immediately knew we had made the right choice when we were greeted by Sam at the front desk, who promptly checked us in early and even upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. She also helped arrange a tour of Angkor Wat the following day. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the A/C worked great. We stayd in 8 different hotels during our honeymoon, and Lotus Blanc was hands-down the best value of the entire trip!
