“Charming and caring!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2013 via mobile

Stayed for 3 days during Thanksgiving. From the moment we arrived they treated us well with a refreshing welcome drink and cold towel. Pool was beautiful and breakfast was great. As others noted, there was construction but the hotel staff did a great job to minimize the annoyance. The guest service manager was so helpful and even remembered our names. Great experience and would highly recommend!

Room overlooked the pool. Very large, clean comfortable room. Loved the dark wooden floors , crisp white contrast of the bed. Very cool effect. The staff are brilliant. Everyone we came in contact was friendly, professional and helpful. Our shuttle bus to transport was a little late coming, without being asked the hotel car was organised so as not to delay us. Pool large clean and inviting. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Staff gave us Khmer lessons each day and then tested us! We will come back, the hotel and the city is most worthy of a return visit.

Room Tip: Maybe top floor if light sleeper? If heavy footed guest above on the beautiful wooden floors...coull...

We were treated with the utmost professionalism and service as soon as we stepped through the doors. Throughout our stay, the staff took every effort to see to our needs. On our arrival, we were personally greeted by Ms. Sambath Soun, their assistant Resident Host Manager, who sat us down with cold towels and coconut water. She was approachable and helpful anytime we had a request.

The spa is wonderful, the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable, and the pool and poolside bar incredibly relaxing.

Lastly, its location away from the downtown area of Pub Street is an asset, not a detractor, as tuk tuks are easy to get (the hotel would happily arrange it) and we preferred the peaceful ambiance of the Lotus.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable hotel with great service and facilities.

Rooms are spacious clean and well appointed..pool area is spacious and clean though almost entirely shaded for most of the day which, for a sun worshiper is a little disappointing

Breakfast is extensive, fresh and tasty with one of the freshest, fluffiest omelettes I have ever had.

Staff are so friendly and attentive and they are absolutely everywhere..in fact it can be slightly embarrassing as one who likes to treat people as equals to have them fawning over you so much

My only criticism is what they charge for a one day tour of angkor wat - guide & driver was US$85 which I know is very expensive compared to booking the guide and driver directly and is much more than they will have actually received themselves. However I was left with little choice having not been able to book directly before my arrival

One of the best hotels, not only in Siem Reap, but internationally. Great staff team with very high international standard. Very professional staff at the front desk and Guest Relations. The management team should be proud of themselves for having such esprit de corps. Great evironment with a reasonably grand lobby and a special mention to its fantastic swimming pool! For all the above such, the price is extremely reasonable. A great hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days at the end of Nov. This is a quiet and laid-back resort without the hussle and bussle of Siem Reap town and tour groups bussing in and out. The staff are helpful and friendly, including our host Mr Chiva. Breakfast was sumptious and delicious and the waffle station was my wife's favourite.

Room Tip: there are pool view and city views.

We booked this hotel online because of the affordable package and so we were not expecting much given our limited budget. But lo and behold we were definitely overwhelmed by how nice and spacious this place was. Staff was very attentive and helpful, even going through the trouble of getting a tuktuk for us because we didnt want to splurge on a hotel taxi.Their breakfast buffet was a mix of Asian and Continental and does not really vary much day to day but it is definitely a good spread and good value.

They also have a nice spacious pool which we enjoyed lounging around in after a hectic day biking around the temples. Our room overlooked the garden/pool so it was always a nice thing to wake up to.

Not only were we given a 5-star treatment but it was always clean, safe and quiet during our stay this year and would definitely consider staying here again during our next trip to Cambodia.

Room Tip: If there is a convention, maybe it would be better to ask for a room that is further from where most...
