“Awesomes staff”
Reviewed October 18, 2013 via mobile

We had a really pleasant stay at Memoire d'Angkor. People working there always takes care of you. We are used to luxury hotels but we never met a more friendly staff. The location of the hotel is perfect and the tour guide (Mr Nak) found by the hotel was excellent. Minibar, laundry and airport transfert are included: you feel like a VIP!
However, there is also few "can be improved" : The breakfast was not as good as we expected (but bakeries are tasty) and the cleaning of the room is not perfect. The suite's bathroom needs a big update and, last but not least: forget about the view. The hotel configuration imply that only few rooms have a correct view (and we saw 5 of them, and no suite with nice view).
Note: some deluxe room (smaller than suite) have a correct view and an updated bathroom.
Anyway we really enjoyed our stay, thanks to the entire staff.

Great location, friendly staff, complementary everything, great breakfasts (inc Xylophone player), very clean, an efficient laundry service, cold AC, comfy bed - that's just for starters. Like me, what you really want to know is 'should I pick here?'
It was booked for us by our tour agent 'Selective Asia' and so it has proved. Far higher standard than other Asian hotels we have stayed in across India, Thailand, Malaysia - this came as a pleasant surprise. 4 nights here to do the temples and floating villages - a welcome sanctuary to return to and cool down after hot sticky days sightseeing.
I would certainly recommend it to you!

Chan assisted us all throught our stay. Don't hesitate asking anything from him. He will try his best to comply and make your stay the best experience possible.

Spacious rooms, satisfying breakfast, nice pool and gym. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a great stay we had at Memoire d' Angkor Boutique Hotel. The hotel itself was great but what made the hotel even better was the friendliness of the staff...especially the front desk crew. The location was great and even tho it rained pretty much the entire time we were there, we were always greeted with smiles and pleasant conversation on our wet return. I did have an issue with the aircon, and they immediately tried to resolve. All and all, I would say the customer service is what makes this hotel stand out from others.

Room Tip: The venue right across the street has a nice show and dinner every night. Walk across the street an...

During our 2 month travels of south Asia we decided to visit Siem Reap and this wonderful hotel. We stayed for 4 nights initially but decided to rebook for another 4 as the hotel was great and we wanted to leisurley visits to the temples.
Hotel.....First 4 nights we were allocated the top floor, end room as requested prior to arrival. The rooms aren't modern, they're traditional with dark furniture and a little tired but that didn't matter as they are very clean + tranquil. Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The staff were outstanding and the extras made this hotel brilliant.....free airport pick up and drop off ( private) free daily mini bar, free laundry (wow! We saved a fortune) great breakfast, great pool. We were upgraded to a suite for the next 4 nights. Wonderful. The room had a massive bed and it even had a swing!
Temples......Angkor Wat and the temples were the highlight of our travels. We had Mr Rady an experienced tuk tuk driver for three days ( non consecutive) and he was happy to take us to all the temples and sights. His English was very good and he also explained each temple and its history. He was polite, never hassled us into going to places we didn't want to go and drove us through villages giving us an insight into Cambodian family life beyond Siem Reap. It cost $40 in total for 3 full days to all the temples including the ones 35km away. Mr Rady (hotel organised him for us) was so appreciative of the tips which he so rightfully deserved. We were delighted with our stay at the Memoire d'Angkor and would stay again if we ever return to Siem Reap.

Room Tip: Room 402= suite with the swing and I think 510 was the top floor end room. Worth emailing in advance...

Very efficient pick up from the airport and I'm ushered by Phally Kong, Front Office Manager. Friendly and warm service by him and had a good chat during the journey to the hotel from the airport.

When I reach the hotel, I'm served with a cold towel and a special welcome drink( it's green in color and I'm not sure what fruit or vege is it). And surprisingly, Phally upgraded my room to a Memoire Suite with no reason and for the same price that I have paid! The environment was clean and comfortable. The best part is it is located near Angkor Night Market/Pub Street(just 10 minutes walk). Grocery shops and local restaurant nearby too. Beautiful environment at the pool too and tidy gym just beside the pool area.

Wish I could spend more time with this hotel!

What a utterly pleasant surprise - D'angkor Hotel was one of the best hotel I've experienced. My friend and myself took our maiden trip to Cambodia and were told not to have high expectation with regards to food and accommodation. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were seen to, right from the moment we stepped out of our transport. Mr Pally Kong, the Guest Experience Manager and his team were magnificent, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was luxurious, clean and comfortable. I liked the fact that a 'live' station was present at breakfast, and one could request for squeezed fruit juice and omelette - all freshly prepared there and then. The staff were cheerful, polite and helpful. They were friendly and their service was second to none. Location wise, it was in a safe environment. The night market and eateries were within walking distance, yet it was quiet enough to have a restful sleep. After two nights' stay, we ventured into Phnom Penh, but sadly the hotel there was a far cry from our experience in D'angkor. I fully recommend this hotel ...
