We went to this restaurant based on recommendation from our travel company. Whilst the spring rolls were OK, and my husband enjoyed his fish amok, my supposed vegetarian noodle and vegetables was really poor. The menu indicated a number of dishes (only about 3) that could be prepared in a vegetarian version. What they actually gave me was the same as the options for meat but without the meat, no protein. The vegetables were fairly meagre in number and quality mostly consisting of thin slices of carrot, it was oily and tasteless. Service was patchy even though the place was virtually empty. If you are vegetarian, I suggest you go elsewhere

We chose this restaurant based on the recommendation of our travel agent and reading some of the positive reviews here. Unfortunately it did not meet up to expectations. The atmosphere is completely dead, very few other guests when we were there. The claimed terrace overlooking the river is nothing special and it is quite obviously a restaurant as part of a hotel.
The first problem arose when my partner ordered a taster of three salads which was indicated as a vegetarian dish. It turned out one of the salads contained shrimp, to which he is allergic. We called the waitress, she took the dish back to the kitchen to have it changed. However, when a new dish arrived it still had shrimp inside. It seemed they had only gone through the original dish and picked out a few, overlooking the remaining. Something that is in fact dangerous and should never happen in a restaurant! The sauce for the main course (pork with pineapple) tasted burnt and was nothing special. Only the Amok Fish was good. For a pot of tea, 2 appetisers, 2 mains we paid USD 25. We would not recommend this restaurant.

Characteristic place, nice atmosphere, but not so many guests. (And I can imagine that this doesn't encourage the waiters)
The Khmer food is rather good but too pricy.

We went there after our first day in the area. We were a bit doubtful because we were the only ones having dinner. We ordered two set menus snd everything in it was really good. We payed 30 dollars for the dinner and a couple of scotchs. Very recomendable!

This was the best meal we had in Siem Reap. The restaurant is on the other side of the river, so a little away from the hustle and bustle, but still very conveniently located (easy walking distance). Perhaps this is why this restaurant doesn't receive as many reviews as others, but we do really recommend it. The food was delicious, especially the fish amok in banana leaf. Also had delicious cocktails! Would definitely go back.
