Owner description: Having undergone minimal restoration, stone pillars and carvings intertwine with massive tree roots and jungle in this stunning temple complex.

This is a visually stunning temple site, presenting many exceptional examples of gigantic trees entwining magnificent ruins with their roots. It's a magical effect. It's so popular that the density of visitors is a challenge - courtesy and patience will greatly help.

Too many Korean tourist buses. No atmosphere.

Prah Khan was much nicer! We walked through the forest and enjoyed the private atmosphere!

Ta Prohm gives insights into what a big project it is to restore the temples. It has the coolest pictures - tree on top of temple - where do you get to see that? It was a wonderful visit.

This was my favourite. The challenge is appreciating the beauty when there are hoards of tourists- there are certain tour groups from a couple of countries that ruin it for everyone by being loud and rude. Most people take the photo to avoid being in the moment and really appreciating what they are seeing. A total waste in my opinion. Because you can climb and explore on your own I encourage you to do so- find a quiet space away from the crowd.

Known for a movie shot here. This is my favorite wat. Beautiful scenes with trees growing in the midst of the Wat. Be sure and know which entrance you began it. There are three exits and you will never find your tuk-tuk if you leave the wrong exit. This Wat is fairly large and is somewhat easy to get turned around in. This is a must see Wat.
