“Another great temple to see”

An amazing place to visit. Employ a guide and get the most from your visit. The day we went, it was very busy (about 9.30am). Wear comfortable shoes and always carry water with you.

“Big, bold, old and beautiful”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

Angkor Thom is large, very large, and contains some magnificent stone sculptures, many of which are actually part of the fabric of the temple and temple walls. Like everything else in the Angkor complex it is on a large scale, and well worth the time and effort to visit.

I liked this site better than Angkor What. Its smaller and crowds make for some tight squeezes, but still well worth the visit.

“Lots To See And Take In. An Experience.”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

Visited this site early morning, about eleven and was very surprised at the lack of tourists, yes they were there but not in the numbers we later experienced at Ta Phrom, the jungle wat. The location is so big it also helps to spread the visitors around as everyone gets dropped of at one location and you make your way through the city to he pick up point I really enjoyed this location as it has three or four locations you can explore but beware the heat is extra ordinary, by the time we had finished I was ready to collapse, it's hard going in the middle of the day. Probably why it was so quiet. You need a good couple of hours to get around this location. Despite the heat it was very enjoyable and my favourite.
