It’s very clean and quiet, awesome breakfast; Friendly staff,
Location is good - just a 5 minute from the supermarket, center market and all the restaurants
In Pub Street, you can find many restaurants( really cool place )
I will definitely be visiting and staying here again.
I recommend this hotel to everybody

This is a quiet, well-located, mid-range hotel with a small, clean pool. Breakfasts are excellent.
The family is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and nicely decorated.

Room Tip: There are different types and prices of rooms so be aware of this.

Highly recommended by my boyfriend's sister and it was a good call. We got there pretty late, our room was charming. The style is Spanish/Mexican. The sheets were impeccably clean (pristine and white). The bathroom was also clean, the shower was a bit of a puzzle though but after asking for assistance from an attendant, we figured it out (water smells like soil though). I regret not having the time to enjoy a dip in the pool though because it was sweltering hot during our visit but our schedule was just too packed. Breakfast was simple..if you're used to big servings, it might come as a disappointment. But for me, a few slices of fruits, some pieces of bread, some eggs and jam are perfect.

I have heard that the new wing is better so we'll probably ask for a room there next time we come back.
For the price, we really can't complain, besides, there's nothing to complain about. :)

We stayed at the Auberge Mont-Royal for 4 nights with our two children. We had a family room - two king size beds. Extremely comfortable. Room was cool and the curtains were heavy enough to keep the room dark in the morning. The restaurant is very nice, the fish Amok was really good. The restaurant service can be a little slow if the restaurant is busy but the food is well worth the wait and the staff are very nice.
Breakfast has a simple menu offering eggs, french toast, pancakes and really delicious fruit, very tasty, the kids especially liked the fresh out of the oven carrot muffins! The pool is perfect for cooling off after a long day visiting the temples.
They arranged a tour guide and a van and driver to transport us to and from the temples. Our tour guide, San, was excellent.
The grounds are really lovely, very pretty hanging orchids, lush green vegetation. Just overall excellent service and we will definitely be going back. My husband and I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a ground floor twin standard room for 3 nights.

The room was a good size with two large four poster beds. The shower room was large and modern. My only complaint was that due to the location of the room on the ground floor we had to close our curtains for privacy (therefore I would recommend asking for a standard room on the others floors).

Breakfast was good, although bizarrely you are charged between $2-3 extra if you go after 9:15am.

The pool is small but great for a dip after wandering around the temples.

The staff are friendly and efficient.

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher floor have more privacy.

Not far from the main tourist area (but away from its hustle and bustle) this hotel has free breakfast, a nice pool, and excellent service. They can help you arrange transport for local sites and for boat service elsewhere. Good wi-fi. Was a nice base to explore the surrounding temples. Rooms have air conditioning, . The orange drapes cast a lovely orange glow in the morning and the four post bed was comfortable. Our room had a small bathtub and shower.

On one day we took advantage of a massage at the hotel, although the rooms are right off the pool and the lack of music and sounds of noisy children outside hurt the experience a little.

Room Tip: Floors away from the pool will be quieter

I've been here more than a dozen times so feel able to judge.

The plusses are: lovely rustic feel with plenty of plants, nice chlorine-free pool and the best baguettes in Siem Reap for breakfast.

There's no lift so you could find clambering 3 floors up, and the wi-fi is somewhat erratic in its coverage. There's nothing in the fridges but it does save you time at checkout not having to be questioned on your use of it!

Overall it's a lovely, good value mid-range hotel and has a the quirky feel of staying in your slightly eccentric uncle's home. It's popular with French tourists as the owner and many of the staff speak the language well.

The location is now well provided with eating and drinking options, as well as photo processing shops and the like. It's just a pity they don't make the restaurant more attractive for meals other than the wonderful breakfast so it's almost always empty.
