Angkor Wat is certainly an awe inspiring “must see” but be ready for the crowds. Suggest a very early visit. Frankly we enjoyed many of the other less crowded temples which were all incredible in their own ways without the hassle of overcrowding.

Excellent to see such a cool place, but the tourists are a lot. The walking isn’t too bad, there’s food and drink along the way, I would subway getting a tuk tuk or even a guide. But I would highly recommend going at sunrise.

Must remember when visiting this place ladies should cover their shoulders and knees. There is a market around the temple but their prices are expensive. The temple its self is a wonder and very big. Ensure you are wearing comfortable shoes, there are lots of steps and areas to walk. Best time to go if you want to climb to the top is sun set, when it is cooler.

If it's not on your list then it should be. But you're reading this review so obviously it is!

Get yourself there by 830am and you can have a good roam around before it gets too busy and too hot.

Suggest you rent a guide from the tourist information in Siem Reap. Not only knowledgeable but also provide all the answers to questions about the country

This is an extraordinary and wonderful place, the centre of probably the largest setllement on Earth at the time it was built. it combines monumental magnificence with the finest detail (wall carvings). Astonishing. Something to remember forever.
