This was the main reason for coming to siem reap and it didn't disappoint. One suggestion is go now as more and more of the temples are being renovated and new stone is replacing the original one's , so who knows what you will be looking at in years to come...

Photos don't do it justice, an incredible place. The climb to the top of the temple was steep but worth the effort. The views from the top all around were wonderful.

My Wife and I went with another couple to the Angkor Wat temples about a year ago. I want to let everyone know of a great Tuk-Tuk driver, named Mao Khvan. He took us everywhere we wanted to go for two days. He was familiar with the temples and knew which wants to go to and in what order. He walked us through them and showed us things we never would have seen on our own. He was also great with the camera, finding the right angles and shots that really added to my photo collection! If you want more of a local scene, he offers that as well. He took us to a far away hike to a waterfall, stopping whenever we asked to meet locals working their craft. Mao made the trip extra special. Here is his info: Mao Khvan. maokhvan@gmail.com - Telephone: 092 12 6664 - Facebook: Mao Khvan
