The view walking to the temple is excellent and you pass by a market before reaching the temple itself. Magnificent structure and carvings. You have to take a picture of Angkor Wat late in the afternoon to get a good picture as the sun is behind the structure in the morning. Bring water, handfan and hat as it can get very humid and hot. It is a long walk.

Need we elaborate on the majestically imposing lovely piece of architecture is THE cynosure of discerning and curious traveller...fantastic homage to Lord Mahavishnu in yesteryears.
We wish we had the opportunity to experience the majical movement of Sun against its backdrop in the early hours...but clouds have a different idea altogether...:-)

This place is massive and beautiful and a lovely layout ,many carvings rooms, hallways with murals to look at. best have a guide who understands what these mean. dont forget the library out front. watch trying to go up to the 3rd layer it is a very steep long stair case up.

Stunning Architecture!!! You will be amazed by the structure. Get a Tour Guide and he will explain to you about the history and information about Angkor Wat. You will surely enjoy the tour! One day is not enough, you need at least 3 days to explore. I will be back again. :-)

This place is fantastic. From the beautiful multiple temples you get to visit to the culture of the Cambodian wild.

You will love this place.

Some quick advice though, Be ready to walk. The temples that are near by are worth seeing. You will want to get a tour if possible to get a good perspective and the full experience.

If you are planning to stop by for an hour or two, DONT!

This place requires at least a day of your life. It's that good. And if you were to try to hit this place up for a small amount of time, you'll regret it if you have to leave quickly.
