absolutely awesome!
we were there to see the sunrise, left hotel at 4.15am, and what a sight, we were very lucky to se a sunrise,(been overcast for a long time) it was just awesome cant describe it, you have to see it!!Unfortuanly people who have taken the PERFEKT SHOT, doent move, so all other people can get the chance to get the famous shot , that would be the only negative about this place
the ground are just awesome, the old temples just stunning , would like to go back soon.!

Arrive at around 4:30am and get yourself a great spot, set up your tripod, make sure it's literally in the water and some people will be so desperate, they'll go in the water in front of you just to get a shot without people in the photo. As you can see from the photo I uploaded, it turned out quite well! :) Make sure you stay until you see the sun actually come up, there will be time when the sky goes orange, and back to regular daylight and shift like that until the actual sun rises. I've seen a lot of people think it was over after the first "wave of orange sky" went by.

Gorgeous and definitely socialize as you can be waiting for a while!

Breathtaking, amazing, impressive .... Having been to Bagan in Myanmar, I never expected to be so impressed.

Angkor Wat. Wow. Very large and lots of things to climb up and down on. I would suggest going with a guide so you know what you are looking at.

I recommend doing it by bicycle - over two days - it's such a great way of taking in the scenery - with the wind to cool you down, stop for some pineapple etc.. take it easy, take is slow.. It's much better that racing through on a tuk tuk and getting all "Ankored out" Then on the third day you can see many sights that you dont have to pay for if you have your Ankor ticket! Note that you have a week to use up your days - you don't have to do it consecutively.
