we stayed just before the hotel closed for wet season maintenance and enjoyed nearly the whole place to ourselves. the bed was made up in the morning and at night, we received a small gift on our bedside each day which was really thoughtful. breakfast is huge and you can basically have what ever you want, the grounds are immaculate and the position with in Siem Reap is possibly the best. The hotel is flanked by others costing about double the price per night. staff are excellent, we showed the doorman where we were going for dinner and he asked if we had a reservation, we didn't. by the time we arrived the hotel had called ahead and made a booking for us!! wonderful service. will definitely be back!!

Old colonial charm of the building is relaxed and peaceful. Staff are very attentive, caring and appreciative of any praise. Service is first rate, food terrific and recommendations for activities is first class. The tours organised through the hotel, using Kompoul Advance Tours, are fantastic. Ask for Chou Silong as your guide. We had him for a tour of Angkor Wat and for the Floating Villages. First rate guide. This is our second experience of the Victoria chain of Resort Spas and we can't recommend them highly enough.

Room Tip: We had connecting rooms with our son an his family.

This place was just wonderful. The surroundings were immaculate - it was like a tropical hideaway. The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and we loved our little gifts at turndown. We had cocktails and snacks at the bar which were divine.

This resort had a lovely pool, and a couple of restaurants to chill out in (literally), although you could also sit outside. The bar had snacks during happy hour, which I heard were quite good. There were a couple of pools of alligators. What more could you ask for in Cambodia! :)

The Victoria is a genuine 4 Star hotel.
The location is handy with easy access to the main ruins of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom and a short stroll to some shops and restaurants.
We also used the tut-tuts which are inexpensive and will take you anywhere, or even on a tour of the town, for a few dollars from ether front of the hotel.
Our Rooms were spacious, well appointed and in excellent condition.
The staff are friendly and courteous and seemed intent on ensuring our stay was as enjoyable as possible.
In late May the temperature is extremely hot making the very picturesque pool more than welcoming.
We stayed 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and included a very nice Cambodian version of Pho.
We dinned at the restaurant one evening and meals were very nice.
Likewise, the bar/lounge was very comfortable whether we wanted a cocktail, coffee or a light meal.
We enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
PS check out the crocodiles (confined) in the internal garden.

The service, rooms, food and pool are absolutely incredible. The breakfast buffet is something I still dream about. If you are heading to Cambodia in the warm season, the pool is a slice of heaven! The bikes were great, we rented them for the day to see the temples and it was inexpensive. The gift shop gifts at turndown are so sweet!
