This came at the end of a great vacation experience and provided a fine refuge from the heat and humidity of the temples and surrounding attractions. The hotel provides a blend of luxury and old-world charm, exemplified by the 1920s elevator. We were only on the first floor but tended to use the elevator for the experience.

Our room was large and well appointed with a balcony overlooking the royal gardens and residence. The quality and range of breakfast food was excellent and service was almost telepathic in the way our needs were anticipated.

The pool and change-rooms were fantastic with complimentary everything you need. the poolside bar service was also a welcome luxury.

Room Tip: Overlooking the gardens was great.

My wife and I spent 8 days in Cambodia, with four nights at the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor. The hotel has been nicely updated and offers a look back into a different age, while allowing the guests to enjoy all the necessary comforts of a modern five-star hotel. The buffet breakfast is fantastic and held us until dinner, each day. The highlight was certainly the staff of the hotel who were genuinely interested in us and learned our names the first day. They are warm and want to know how you are enjoying their beautiful country. Our advice is to splurge a little and enjoy your visit to Siem Reap in comfort!

The Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angor is just as important as visiting the area temples. The Hotel exudes history and charming; its as if you are transported during the 1930s when travelers were truly adventures and took treks and expeditions etc. The hotel is a piece of history and the tremendous facilities and staff are outstanding. I was fortunate enough to spend 6 days there recently and currently and have felt tremendously comfortable and pampered. The Swimming pool is spectacular and one of the best I have ever experienced. The Breakfast Buffet is abundant and offers an extravaganza of food. Pat Sambo the Chef Concierge is probably the most knowledgeable person in all of Cambodia and will guide you through travels not only in Siem Reap but anywhere in Cambodia. The entire staff and team aim to please and are full of smiles.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are comfortable and charming and again exude the colonial old world style. If you...

The Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor is, indeed, one of Siem Reap’s landmarks being the oldest hotel in the city, blending French-colonial charm with modern facilities and impeccable service only the Raffles can offer. A warm appreciation from our team and we hope you had enjoyed your stay with us enough for you to come back again for another visit in the future.

We stayed three nights. The staff were very welcoming, very helpful and attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. When we were at the pool the staff even offered to clean our reading glasses! The champagne breakfast was great. It has a lovely swimming pool spa and a good gym too. The room we stayed in was perfect with a small balcony which was great for relaxing. All in all it was a great stay. Highly recommended.

Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor. The name says it all and what a sensational experience at this hotel. From the minute you walk in until the last minute leaving, we were made so welcome, we actually didn't want to leave. Even to the point, the staff know your names. And the restaurant from breakfast, compliments to the staff. One of the best we have been to. Well done Raffles. Next trip to Siem Reap, and we will be staying with you.

Room Tip: The hotel is so quiet, room location doesn't matter
