This hotel is absolutely charming in every respect. The service, the attention, the room, the food, the piano bar and the pool are all second to none. The hotel was opened in 1932 and the charm and ambience of this era is very evident in the decor and the gorgeous old wrought iron lift. As Cambodia is such a poor country it was touching for us to have so much attention showered on us all the time. I loved my stay in this hotel and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: The hotel is not super large. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The layout of...

The pool attendant notices that your shoes are dusty and offers to clean them, there and then. When finished with the shoes he offers to clean your eyeglasses and does tghat professionally while you watch. Just a few of the touches of attentive service at this truly Grand Hotel. The food is superb and the wine list is extensive. The hotel goes out of its way in every way. For example, when we wanted to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat they offered to pack us breakfast - In the morning we were presented with a backpack filled with a three course breakfast and all sorts of delights. Stunning performance.

This hotel was not as good as the Raffles Beijing and hence I was a little disappointed. However, it was charming. The room was smaller than I had expected but well located with a view of the hotel swimming pool. The breakfast was delightful with a terrific range from which to choose, a wonderful ambiance, truly helpful and pleasant staff (nice change from our earlier experience through China). We enjoyed our breakfast on the veranda - delightful.

We stayed here as a first step on an A&K-organized trip to Siem Reap and Myanmar. The gods were smiling on us and we were upgraded to a suite. Everything was perfect. The service provided by all the staff was outstanding crowned by the professional, attentive and caring attitude of the butler (Mr Pha?). The room, the pool, the breakfasts, the buffet with Cambodian dancing and "Mr Piano Man" all combined to make this a memorable stay -perfect in every way!

Siem Reap was the final stop on our three week trip through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. After staying at hotels like the Sofitel Legend Metropole and La Residence Phou Vao the Raffles was a massive disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stay at La Residence D'Angkor instead. The Raffles just feels like a Victorian era hospital. The bathroom was small and the shower just looked like it needed a good clean. The food in the restaurant was poor and the wait staff was not friendly. Breakfast was fine however and the sutuation in the elephant bar was much better than the restaurant, good burger and sandwiches and great cocktails.....not great enough to make me want to stay here again though!

One of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Best food, best service and best location! I'm sure I will visit the hotel again very soon.

No need to worry about anything because they already take care of all the details for you, The breakfast, the bar and the yummy dining restaurant. If you are interested in traditional culture, you must make a reservation of the buffet with amazing Cambodian dancing performance in the hotel.

I am really curious how their training system because all the hotel staff can give you a cherry greeting with your name from check in. They always think further for customers and they know what you need all the time.

special thanks to the following great people from Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor. You all made me have a perfect stay in Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor! Thank you soooooo much,

Ms. Srey Dany, the chef, radiates smile to everyone she meets. Her smile is with great positive power that can make you full of energy immediately! I miss your smile ever day when I came back to Taiwan.

Mr. Sreu Vuthy, our best butler, took as heedful care of us to ensure that our stay was enjoyable as possible. I really love the surprise he prepared for our last night in the wonderful hotel. Thank you very much. 

Mr. Thong Veasna, our driver, drove us to a local village on 13/Oct/2012. It was one of the best experience during my Siem Reap journey . We spent few hours with the lovely kids we met in a nameless temple and experienced the ceremony of Pchum Ben Day. We felt we are not visitors anymore and had some real connection with local people and monks on that day.

Stayed 2 nights and rate this hotel extremely highly. From the moment of arrival the guest is front and centre for all the staff - who are both efficient and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with excellent facilities Restaurant is excellent with well prepared food. Swimming pool is one of the bigger pools you will see in a hotel environment and great to swim in. Staying at this hotel was a great experience.
