“Good veggie food”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

I am no vegetarian, but the food they make is tasty and interesting. Service is attentive, more or less as in all the other restaurants I've been in Cambodia. Price is a bit lower than the average restaurant in Old Market. Absolutely to recommend and - if I had a chance to go back in Cambodia - I would eat there again. On the minus side: it's one of the few restaurant with prices in Riel, not a big problem but dollars are easy.
The place is small so it's better to go early or to make a reservation (even if I don't know they accept it).

“Nice place to explore”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

When we are in Siem Reap, we have to visit Phsa Chas ( Old Market), It is a souvenir market and mix up with local market.
All stuffs are available there but however, you have to bargain it.
You have to remember that if you need to buy some stones and jeweleries, you have to be careful, because of them are fake.
However, it is a good place to explore...

“Disappointing”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The service was very poor, beer served in warm glasses and the curry we had was not only full of potato, but it was tasteless! I won't bother going back there again.

“This place never changes - But I love it!!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

What a great, centrally located market to get all your gifts for family and friends, but especially yourself. There are so many bits and pieces to choose from and grab yourself a bargain. Make sure you haggle. If they say $12 for something, go as low as you can and then haggle your way to the best price. But if you walk away and they do not come after you, you know your are offering less than what they buy for. But have fun and stay friendly and smile. Either way it is a great experience to meet some locals if nothing else and have a chat.

“Local scene”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

I would suggest this market than the night market, as it is more 'authentic'. It has everything you can imagine and better bargain than night market as that's touristy...
