Cafe CBF is two doors down from The Tara Angkor Hotel, not far from the museum and ceramics center, on the road to the temples. It looks like a bakery (sparkling clean, white) and the third time we were in for dinner, a couple walked in and looked at the case and walked out without looking at a menu. Their big loss. Twice, we ordered a three -course set menu ($8). They have Khmer and Western sets. I had one of each, over two days. The Western one featured a composed salad of blackened fish strips and veggies; a duck breast in wine sauce on a bed of mashed potatoes laced with bleu cheese; and a piece of chocolate cake with coconut ice cream. You would be hard-pressed to get a meal of this quality for $25 in the states. The chef knows what he's doing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Go and support these terrific folks.
