Just came back from an awesome dinner at Tangram Gardens. Our meal was delicious...the best in Cambodia...and the service was fantastic. You are seated in the lovely garden, with each table under its own palm frond hut, making for an intimate setting. The servers are wonderful and very personable. Our server, Sahra, was excellent, and we had a lovely chat with him as a sudden storm blew in (its still the rainy season). He was very attentive and was keen to ensure we had a fantastic experience. The restaurant itself seems to place a very high value on customer service. They sent a Tuk Tuk driver to pick us up from our hotel and also called for one to take us back...the servers have a very practical system set up. Each little hut is equipped with a lantern...if you meed something, just turn on your lantern. We had the daily special, Beef Lok Lak which included an appetizer, and both were fantastic. My husband, who at times is a very picky eater, cleaned his plate. My dish, the cashews with cauliflower and kale, was also very tasty, although i found myself picking off my husbands plate. The icing on the cake is this restaurant supports a local orphanage - all in all an extremely pleasant and memorable evening in a restaurant that supports local nonprofits. Highly recommended.
