There was representative about Cambodian sad history with a large-scale massacre about several millions people. This temple was located on the way to Ankor Wat, and small temple. Many skulls was in the tower of glass. I don't know who were in, but I gave silent prayer. I would recommand to visit there, before visiting Ankor Wat.

Unlike the one in Phnom Penh, this is quite smaller and have fewer details about the Khmer Rouge. It just show some 15-20 photos of the Polpot Regime and then a pile of human bones inside a glass tube. But it's definitely worth a visit to pay respect to the victims of the KR.

If you are expecting the real Killing Fields and a history lesson on Pol Pot and Khmer Rouge you will NOT find it here. The real Killing Fields are in Phnom Penh.

Here you will find a 3 meter high glass case with skulls and bones on the property of a modern wat. I've seen a lot of wats during the past month in Thailand and Cambodia and this wat is beautiful, as they are all, but it is not spectacular.

This place is not far from Angkor Wat, so if you want to do a quick a 15 minute stop go ahead.

...it was too difficult to walk around between such horrible stories. The place is full of sadness, but you know almost nothing about Cambodia if you avoid the Killing fields!

This Killing Fields will tear your heart. Our tour guide, adept in his country's history sometimes was emotional over how Cambodia never learn their lessons. But Cambodia is moving fast forward with Siem Reap being a top 10 tourist destination in the world. Must-visit for all tourists.
