Over all this hotel is good and valuable. i feel comfortable in this hotel even there are not beautiful. Is around 3km to old town. so we have to took a USD$2 "tuk tuk".
hotel provide free "tuk tuk" to night market at night time.
Hotel provide some activities in siem reap, like tour visit temple of Angkor. USD$13 for group. USD$ 15 for 1 day "tuk tuk".
But the breakfast is not good.

Experiencing genuine Khmer service doesn't have to be pricey. My family and I can attest that they are true to their claim of "warmest accommodation in Siem Reap". We definitely got a good deal in availing their tour package. Aside from the inclusions described in their website, we got extra bonuses during our stay. Since it was my birthday on the day of our check out, they still managed to give me a surprise, take note, free of charge. Aside from the cake, balloons, fruits, and a bottle of wine, what I cherished most is when I received heart-warming Khmer greetings together with a birthday song sang in their language from all their employees right in front of our room's doorstep. Unexpectedly, we even got an additional discount considering all the freebies we got.

The hotel offers comfortable and spacious rooms with wifi. But they also have computers in the lobby, which can be used for free. They also have a shelf as their mini library for book lovers, and also for book exchange. Cleanliness was observed in this hotel. Since we spent most of our time walking on Siem Reap's reddish, sometimes wet (because it was rainy at night), land, our footwear becomes really dirty. But they make sure that all grounds, even the rooms, are clean when you get back. A jasmine scent can be noticed every time, making the stay relaxing. The shower and tub were well-maintained. We had good sleep since it is far from the tourist center. Though far, tuk-tuk rides are free from 6am to 10pm. When we want to go out for walk or dinner, we just ask the driver to bring us at a certain place and pick us up on the same place after, for example, 3 hours. We got no problem with the tuk-tuks as they pickup on time and are easily available outside the hotel. They have good choices in their buffet breakfast, but the only downside is they are repetitive. Its good if you are staying for a short time, but tends to be boring when you are staying for a longer period. Service was excellent, as they attended to our needs immediately. They gave us welcome treats every day after our tour/walk, which I really appreciate. Receptionists were always ready to help us out with our queries, and even crack jokes. My family got to learn and understand Khmer culture more with their friendly staff.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Gloria Angkor Hotel, and definitely staying here again when I get back to Siem Reap. I recommend this to my friends and all travelers :)

We chose this hotel for 3 nights over Christmas following the great reviews on TA and the fact that there was a pool so we could relax after all our temple viewing was a major plus point.

Sadly for us it was freezing, the air temperature wasn't great and the water never got warm :(

The hotel is far away from the center, impossible to walk there so you have to get tuk tuks. They offer them free at night and it's $2 in the day.
We had a great driver Mr Ly who was friendly and a safe driver.

When you check in they bring you delicious sweet potato and banana chips along with a lime drink and cold water. Everytime we ordered something we got the chips again which was a nice touch.

What was a bit unnerving and annoying was the constant shouts of hello, how are you etc everytime you came downstairs or went anywhere near reception. It was a bit OTT for us but I can see how people might like it.

The room was very nicely done out and clean. The bathroom was big enough with good water pressure and constant hot water. But the bath leaked so the floor was wet and we didn't get a bath mat or hand towels after the first day when the room was cleaned.

The tv had a few foreign language stations, the fridge was a nice touch and the safe worked well.

The free slippers though were dirty and pre used

Every afternoon we got a fruit basket and in the evening it was bed time stories, sweets and a film tv choice printed up. This often arrived after the films had started but it didn't bother us as we didn't watch them anyway.

What let them down big time was the breakfast - Very little choice and the same thing everyday.

The croissants (1 pp) and the little yogurt (1pp) which were brought to your table were delicious and it is a shame that we couldn't have had more of these.

Staff were non existant at breakfast and there was no clearing of plates so you had to stack everything yourself which didn't leave much room on a small table.

We paid $135 for our 3 night stay and it was too much for what we got in return compared to the $25 a night that we paid at the Angkor Pearl hotel the previous week.

For the price it is good value and the tuk tuk service was great. The hotel is far away from the town, so the tuk tuk's were appreciated. The pool area is nice and welcoming after a day of visiting the temples. We hired a tuk tuk driver to take us to the temples and he was great. The not so good: the floor of our room was dirty and the drain in the bath was very slow. The bed was very hard, in fact it was the hardest bed on our trip. We had lunch one day in the restaurant and it was terrible. Staff are in and out of the rooms several times a day, so for security reasons, be sure to lock up all of your valuables. The staff were polite except for one staff member who was rude and arrogant and he made us feel quite uncomfortable.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff was over the top - helpfull and friendly. The rooms were big and perfectly clean and the food in the restaurant and morning buffet excellent. Really good value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel at any time and would love staying there again. Free shuttle to town at night and staff helpful with tours and booking. Don't hesitate a second to book here!!

One of the best value for money hotels we have ever stayed in.
Firstly it is very cheap, which may put you off.
Don't, the room looked new, flat screen tv with sport and movies.
En suite with shower in bath.
A pool.
Free airport pickup and into town in the evening.
On top of this, the staff are really friendly and there are lots of extra's that take this hotel above the norm.
Welcome drink and towel, fruit basket daily at 4, bed turndown with sweets and daily movie guide.
Why stay anywhere else and waste
Money?

We picked the hotel due to the great reviews at tripadvisor. And we weren't disappointed. When we arrived very friendly staff handed out cold towels, sweet potatoes and a refreshing drink. It was a very warm welcome. Everything was explained. We asked for a tour to Angkor wat and everything was perfectly explained. We booked a Thai tour guide who spoke fluently German and English. He picked us up at 8:30 and the tour ended at 16:00. Internet was fast and stable the whole time. You could FaceTime without any problems.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable. Our room was on the first floor, above the kitchen and towards the pool. It was not loud at all! Every evening we got fresh fruits and flowers.
Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn't as we expected. There was no cheese, no cereals, no sliced cold meat and just one sort of toast. Furthermore, the staff at the restaurant was not really present. The croissants are delicious.
The food at the restaurant at night was good and the price was ok. From spaghetti to Tom kha gai.

There are free tuk tuks (9am-10pm) from the hotel into town, as the hotel is 10 minutes drive away from the city centre.
You can also book a tuk tuk for a whole day which costs 15 $.
The pool is clean and refreshes you after a long day trip to Angkor Wat. There are separate towels.
Due to the price (21€/night) and the overall performance 5/5!
Overall we didn't feel comfortable in Cambodia. First of all, it is very expansive, secondly, the people aren't as friendly as the Thai people, especially if you don't want to pay the excessive amount of money for a free tuk tuk driver, accessories or anything else. They all want to make fast and quick money and that's what you can feel. A shame, because we won't travel to Cambodia anymore.
Finally, do not take a day trip to the floating village. It's not worth 20$, plus 15$ for the tuk tuk. We were so disappointed and there again: unfriendly people, and the hope for big money! Really sad!
