“Best hotel with its price!”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Room was nice, food was nice, and the service was perfect.
If i visit Siem reap again, ill book this hotel again.
All the things in that hotel satisfied me.
(except wi-fi, it works good in the lobby not in my room. But that doesnt matter because you can use it in the lobby as long as you want.)
I've already recommennded this hotel to my friends who r going to visit Cambodia.

Our first choice hotel was full, so we tried Gloria. It was very new, and seemed a bit characterless, but we were immediately won over by the friendly staff. A glass of water and a cool towel were always waiting when we returned from visiting Angor Wat. It may not sound like much, but it was much appreciated. The room was very comfortable, with hot water and AC. Travelers should know that this hotel is not centrally located, but the front desk will arrange a free tuk-tuk to and from the city center upon request. We never waited more than a few minutes for a ride. I just want to mention again how great the staff was. I left my jacket in the room when we checked out, and the manager shipped it to my home at a cost equal to a night's stay, and refused payment.

What a lovely hotel! We had such a great time here. The staff Mr Poh, Mr Sok, Mr Kim and all the other welcoming workers. Everytime we came in from trekking around the temples we were greeted with a cold glass of water and bowl of yummy banana chips. This place is great value for money and they have special promotions for the number of nights you stay such as free bottle of wine or massage or a show. Yes, the hotel is a little out of town but they provide a free evening tuk-tuk service. We really enjoyed the company of all the drivers, in particular Mr Chin who was our tuk-tuk driver around the temples. He was a very cautious driver, avoided all the pot holes and we felt very safe in his tuk-tuk. Every evening they provided us with a nightdown service which involves getting sweeties, movie guide and a Cambodian story to send us off to sleep. What a lovely idea! We also met the manager and heard about all the staff parties they have had. It is really great to know that the staff in this hotel enjoy working there and it certainly shows in their service. I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Siem Reap.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a 3rd floor room. The windows are super clean and you get a cool view of Siem Reap

We initially planned to stay for 3 nights, but unfortunately due to mum getting sick with dysentery (be careful of eating street food, we let our guard down), we had to extend our stay to 5 nights. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to look after us and see to our every need. The owner himself came to bring water and rehydrating solution packets to our room. Everyone from the front desk, the waiters and the tuk tuk drivers were very kind and accommodating with special requests for food and transportation. We felt like the staff truly cared about its guests. Apart from our special circumstances, little touches of thoughtfulness such as iced bottles of water carried by the tuk tuk driver throughout the day (Mr. Thy), all day breakfast, free coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby really exemplify a spirit of generosity and service. The location is a bit far away from town, but with the free tuk-tuk service at night, and the free airport transfers, we didn't feel that this was an inconvenience at all. This is a special hotel that I would highly recommend.

Room Tip: They have triple rooms available that are good options for families (one queen size bed + one single...

I have been lived in this hotel for 4 days with my wife on our honeymoon vacation. I never expected for good room and service in this hotel because the rental was just $25 per day.my wife made a reservation of this hotel through the travel agency.but when i get there, what i saw and what i feel was a very big surprise. although the room was a little small but it was tidy and clean, the air was permiated with fragrance, the friendly servicers of the hotel gave us a very impressive welcome.we lived in the cheapest room but we have been treated as VIP. hereby, i want to give a special thank to our tripadvisor Mr. Phal, he gave us a lot of good advises during our trip in Combodia, he warned the local taxi driver do not cheat on us or he would call the police. thank you Mr. Phal, thank you all of you guys working in this hotel, thank you the friendly manager who was working on fixing the WiFi busyly. thank you for the beautiful image you left in my memory about Combodia.
