Standard massage, fell asleep although I requested strong. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. You can enjoy 15 percent discount, look for the voucher in the Seam Reap monthly guide.

“Looking for THE Spa in Siem Reap? Bodia Spa it is !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

We are a spoilt crew of friends, we love good food, we love great spa’s and we love travelling and discovering.
During our stay in Cambodia we stayed at the Heritage Suites Hotel which was already an amazing experience (see my comment on Heritage Suites Hotel) however we also had the pleasure to enjoy Bodia Spa after a 12 hour day exploring Angkor Watt and Angkor Thom. We decided for the grape vine therapy which includes the use of Caudalie Spa products. This treatment was just divine, we enjoyed every second of it. The ambience in the Spa is very cosy and warmful as well. You won’t feel anything of busy Siem Reap when you enter this Spa Haven!
Just Enjoy!

“My Daily Siem Reap Indulgence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

Bodia is centrally located and is a the quality spa experience I was looking for. Bodia was recommended to me by other guests at my hotel. Surroundings are exceptionally clean and designed to put you at ease for your spa experience. My favorite treatment is the "Bodia Classic 90min" with rosemary oil. I have tried a couple of therapist and have found the most professional and consistent is "Seyha". Seyha is welcoming, pleasant, has great english and really focusses on where your muscles need the attention. His style is smooth soothing and consistent with the overall quality Bodia experience. I highly Recommend a visit.

“Worst than terrible. Don't bother.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

We had a spa treatment ( 1 hour massage for 2 people) as a part of our hotel package which we deliberately booked for a time after one of the longer temple exploring days we had. The booking was made 4 weeks in advance via email to the hotel so we were certainly looking forward to it.

If there was a quarter rating available on Trip Advisor I would be using that. Seems to much to give it a one rating, but as it is the worst rating available, a terrible minus minus is more accurate.

On the evening of our treatment, we arrived at the spa early and were presented with a cool welcome drink. Before being able to take a sip of the drink, the oils for the massage were presented and then we were told to follow the therapists. It seemed rushed from the beginning (even though we were early). In the treatment room, we were shown baskets to put our shoes into and the beds to lie on again in a rushed manner before they left the room for us to change.

The therapists entered the room again prior to us both being ready for the massage and stood waiting for us to get changed and on the massage table which was intrusive and rude. The massage itself was mechanical very much just going through the motions, and even then half heartedly as the massage wasn't balanced ie, one foot massaged but the other not and same again for shoulders.

Despite asking for the type of pressure we wanted, this was not applied and at least five separate requests were made to the therapists to be softer but to no avail.

The amount of oil used during the massage was over the top to the point of needing to wipe off the oil ourselves as it was running down our body like water when we stood up. As a final disappointment, the two therapists talked for most of the hour together in normal voice tone (rather than an occasional whisper) which made the experience feel like we were in a market place rather than a place of relaxation.

The massage was neither relaxing or professional and to say we were disappointed is a severe understatement. Attention to detail is everything in a day spa and the two therapists clearly didn't care or want to be there which directly correlated to us having a horrible experience.

Pity this spa is associated with the Heritage Suite Hotel as it was a blight on an otherwise lovely stay. The only good thing to report in this review is that we thankfully did have an excellent spa experience at Sokkhak spa in Siem Reap so recommend going there instead!

Warmest greetings from Bodia Spa!

We thank you for posting your review with us.

Our training team is working hard, on a daily basis, to insure an adapted and high quality massage to all our guests.

We are sad to see that the treatment you had was not as good as you expected and that you seemed rushed into it.

We really try to offer the best quality to our customers wishing to give an absolute sensory experience dedicated to pampering both body and soul in the most natural way possible.

We do look forward to welcoming you again for another treatment which we hope will make you satisfied from our services that time.

“not to be missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

I ended up at the Bodia Spa by accident - literally! My guide for the Angkor Wat at Sunrise experience neither carried a flashlight nor warned me about a sudden step down in the dark and I took a bad tumble, injuring one of my knees. When the manager of my hotel heard about it, he felt somehow responsible - they had found me the guide - and not only sent me to Bodia Spa on the house, but accompanied me himself and waited while I had a deep reflexology and foot/leg massage. That was the beginning of a daily routine which left me walking perfectly and totally relaxed. Bodia is not cheap by eastern standards - about one-quarter to one-third of what this would cost in Canada - but everything is perfect: the beautiful surroundings with ponds and lotus blossoms, the cold ginger-lemongrass drink and cold cloth when you arrive, the dim lights and ambient natural sounds, the wooden bowls of lotus blossoms beneath your face as you lie on the table, the warm drink and peaceful time after your treatment and before you pay. Nothing is rushed, everything is muted. Really a lovely experience.
