“Well worth it.”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

This is what I would consider a 4-5 star hotel at the price of a 1-2 star hotel. The staff are extremely polite and spoke very good English. The room was huge with a separate bath and shower, they offered numerous tours at really good prices through the hotel run tuk tuks. Every morning was a buffet breakfast which changed daily, some of the items were fried rice, rice porridge, stir fried veges, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, stuffed omelets, croissants, toast, fresh fruit and the list goes on. There is a lovely pool with sun chairs all around, free wifi and its only a 5-10 min walk into the main part of town. If you are looking for somewhere to stay and don't mind spending a little extra this is the place to go.

It's been amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The hotel has tuk tuks and they cost only 13 or 15 for the whole day. Try to do it trough the hotel, otherwise the street tuk tuks can cost you more. Also you can rent the bus to other places from the hotel.

the location is not the best, but is ten minutes walking from the city centre

Bopha pollen has offered us very good memory as what i assume is they are very genuine, I had booked online and I requested for free transfer to the hotel from the bus stop. Even though usually its 6 hours journey from Phnompenh to Siem Reap, Our bus took 9 hours to reach there, still i dont know the reason, we had tried to convince the new timing to the hotel on phone in-between , we couldn't conclude our message on mobile as there was line disturbance; I thought We would nt get their tuk tuk for the transfer, but the guy was waiting there at 2 am at the bus stop. It was a surprise.

Hotel rooms are spacious and pleasant. Having a small but good pool with fresh cool water near the front office. Tea or coffee is kept in the lobby and one can have it free of cost. Location also good enough to go the pub street or market..

Recommend it..

Room Tip: Its a very lovely hotel and the tariff is quite low. You will wonder with the money value as this pl...

I booked here on reading good reviews on trip advisor and couldn't have been happier. The room was large, clean and huge bathroom. Staff were so nice and the pool was a godsend after a hot day out. They offer free pick up and drop off from the airport and excellent tour advice. Tuk tuk drivers out the front who will take you to pub street for $1 and wait if you want. Mr Chamnab was awesome as were all the staff. I think staff make a place and the Bopha Pollen is definitely somewhere I would stay again when visiting Siem Reap.

We stayed here for ten days the staff are attentive, anytime of the day or night, great size rooms aircon, lifts, pool and breakfast included aswell. It is close to Lucky Mall and the markets and cafes and Pub Street. Tuk-tuk drivers at the door and bikes to hire. The pool is great after a hot day out, or to laze and read. Very well priced. Also in a quiet area so no street or traffic noise.

Value for money, this hotel is excellent. We had a corner room at the front, looking down on the pool. Good size room, clean and with all the basics. We liked the area it was in. A small village environment, with lot of shops and other eating places close by. 15 - 20 minute walk or short tuk tuk to the Pub Street area. The big hotels are a lot further out than this.

The pool we were more than happy with. Yes, not huge but no where near as small as I was expecting. You mightn't be able to do laps in it, but it was wonderful way to end each afternoon. Many of the other hotels with pools allow anyone to pay and come in to use them. Most of the time you will have the pool to yourself.

The staff are really lovely, always going out of their way to greet you. They have their own fleet of tuk tuks, which we found were of very high quality compared to many we saw on the streets. We had the same driver, Thearam, a lovely young man who took us each day out to the sites. Definitely book through the hotel, their prices are as good as you can get, and you can trust the drivers.

Our rate of US $25 a night included breakfast. We found the variety more than adequate. No cereal if that is what you are used to, but egg options, asian and meat. Fruits and bread/pastries also available.

The hotel isn't perfect. Poor design on our bath/shower meant that the water ran along the flat rim of the tub and onto the floor. There is a mini fridge but a sign that says strictly no personal items to be put in it, which makes it a bit useless if you can't even cool your water off.

But I have based my review against the price paid. And at the inclusive rate it's hard to do better. We booked directly with the hotel as we stayed five nights, and got a number of bonuses. Check their specials page.

In 50 days we stayed in 15 different hotels. This was the best. Conveniently located on a side street, so it's quiet, but a quick walk or even quicker tuk-tuk ride to lots of eateries and shops. It was a $1 tuk-tuk ride to the market and main tourist area. The staff is amazing, everyone leaping to their feet every time you walk in the door. There is tea and coffee available 24/7, and the breakfast was very good.

The room was great. Ours was on the 5th floor, and the left ended at the 4th, so we had to carry luggage one flight of steps, but it was worth it. I lovely room, spacious, with a great rooftop balcony with two chairs and a table, completely hidden from everyone nearby.

The little pool is tiny, but it's an infinity pool and adorable. Yes, it's near the road, but it's a side road and it's protected by trees, so it doesn't make a big different.

There is a small army of tuk-tuk drivers connected with the hotel, so you never have to wait or go looking for one. Small convenience stores nearby sell water or snacks if you want. You can also get your laundry done either by taking it yourself to a nearby laundry or just handing it over to the desk staff.

After a long exhausting day at Angkor Wat, to come "home" to attentive people, a cool room, lovely pool and relaxing cup of tea, it was heaven!
