We stayed here on our trip to Siem Reap. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the river from the market and Pub street, but it is only a small walk away max 10 min. The plus by beeing on the other side of the river is, that the traffic is limited and it is therefore a nice and quiet place to stay. The staff is the friendliest we have met on our trip to Asia, helpful and always smiling. The breakfast buffet has also been among the best, lots of western food to choose from (fruit, yogurt, bread etc.). The room is big, modern, nice and clean, kept in this romantic-secret-garden-style, like the rest of the hotel. The only downside to this great hotel has been the lack of hot water in the shower and the swiftly wifi, that work sometimes, but then stops and works again constantly.

I stayed here with a pal in April. It is a fairly small hotel all built round a central pool. The pool is surrounded by lush vegetation which can provide welcome shade or alternatively you can sunbathe there too as some of the beds remain in the sun all day. The pool is lovely and has a good drinks service, try the cocktails- fabulous and so reasonable.
Rooms
We had a first floor twin room. All rooms have a pool view and our's had a balcony. The ground floor rooms have small terraces. All have outside seating. The rooms are spacious with wet room bathrooms, our's had 2 showers. It was a lovely clean room. The only drawback was the air con was weak and we did get a bit hot at night.
Breakfast
Breakfast was great, buffet style and a menu for ordering the cooked items Loved the pineapple pancakes. We didn't eat in the restaurant at night so can't comment on that.
Location
It is a short walk into the centre of Siem Reap but it is easy and felt safe. The fact it is not right in the centre gives a very peaceful stay. I loved it.
Staff
All of the staff were great, helpful and courteous.
Overall I would happily return and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Better aircon would give it 5 stars from me.

I've visited Siem Reap many times, and have tried 8 hotels around the town, La Niche D'Angkor is by far the best in all respects. The hotel staff are super friendly, kind and attentive. They really make you feel appreciated, and looked after. The rooms are large, well equipped and super clean. The location is good, just a 5-10 min walk into the Old Market, or you can always pick up a tuk tuk from outside. This is why we've gone back to La Niche 3 times, and will definitely be staying there again at Christmas.

Coming through the gate to La Niche d'Angkor is like coming into a nice forest with a swimming pool. Nice rooms and good breakfast. Only some 10 minutes walk to the Old Market and center of town and all restaurants and pubs. Easy access from the hotel to the Angkor area

As backpackers on a budget, we managed to nab a good deal as it is low season! And we were super thrilled with this deal! The room was beautiful, had everything and more that we needed (tv, tea & coffee, toiletries, robes, AC) staff are super friendly- they can't do enough for you, everyone is friendly, smiley, chatty. Pool is fantastic, really clean, good size and we had it to ourselves for alot of the day. Lots of sun loungers & towels. Breakfast is a buffet, with lots of choice- fruit, cereal, juice, hot drinks, toast, pastries, yoghurt & hot food. We had lunch a few times which was good value, really tasty & huge portions! Great location for pub street, night market etc. We also found a great selection of restaurants at Kings Road a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Thank you for a lovely stay!
