We stayed at La Niche d'Angkor for 3 night and loved it. My husband, myself and our two children had interconnecting rooms, each with their own bathroom and outside seating area. Rooms were spotless, as was the whole place. The breakfast was good - fruit, cereals, juice and coffee at the buffet with hot items cooked to order. Food from the restuarant was also good although there are so many great restaurants in Siem Reap (just a 10 minute walk from the hotel) that we tended to eat out. The hotel organised a driver for the day (the lovely Mr Vuki) to visit temples and booked our bus tickets to Phnom Penh for us. We all loved the pool. We could easily have spent many more days at this lovely boutique hotel and thoroughly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel grounds, every corner of the hotel is filled with nice greenery (landscaping). Every morning the staffs would clean every corner of the room, patio including edges of the chairs and decorative brick walls. I dont remember going to a hotel as clean and well kept as this (and i travel alot). Of course, it helps that this hotel is fairly new but the experience was fantastic and i cant stop promoting it!

Bed was nice and hard, quilt was soft and fluffy and even the pillow is good! Everything smells so new and fresh including the linen. The bath towel is thick and plush! what more can i asked from La Niche?

Size of the room and bathroom is luxurious! we have got 3 ladies in the room and all of us were comfortable.

The only complains i have; there wasn't sufficient storage/ hanging racks/ wall hooks in the bathroom for towels and soiled clothing + the maintenance work (drilling and knocking) starts too early at 8am + the air-con might need some maintenance because it took about 1-2hrs to cool down or maybe due to the hot weather & walking under the sun, we are radiating too much heat..

Besides that, I am a extremely happy guest of this hotel! So are my 2 sisters and other friend (who got the west sun facing his room 005). Without second thoughts, i would recommend La Niche to any friends or strangers who is going to Siem Reap! It is worth every cent of your money.

The owner Mr. Phalla is one of the most helpful hotel owners i have ever come across in Southeast Asia. With lots of patience, he helped us sort out or transportations, booked our guide, plan our sightseeing itinerary and didnt even charge us any coordination fees! All his staffs spoke good English and are very polite. Thank you Mr. Phalla for giving us such lovely memories, I am so glad and proud that i chose La Niche over some other recommendations.

For those who likes to shop, the Night Market, Old Market and Pub street is just 7-10mins walk away from La Niche.

Room Tip: There is a particular row of rooms that faces the west, so if you are particular about the heat stay...

Very nice hotel for couples - away from the busy streets of Siem Reap but close enough to walk (or a short, cheap tuk tuk ride away).

We stayed for five nights (room 17, by the pool) and it was a delight to swim in the beautiful, clean pool each evening after we had been around the dusty temples.

Staff were very friendly. Food in the restaurant was good, though we found that lots of items on the lunch/dinner menu weren´t available (which was strange). Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful.

Our room was spacious with a comfy bed and a huge bathroom with separate shower enclosure and tiled bath.

We found that the air conditioning unit wasn´t large enough for the room so it was difficult to get the room temperature down in the evenings. We were able to borrow a fan from reception though, which made a huge difference.

There was a good free WIFI connection in the room as well as a communal computer for public use in the reception area for those travelling without a laptop.

The free bottled water each day was a nice bonus and very welcome.

Room Tip: I would say that this hotel suits couples rather than young families.

this is a great new hotel, that is reasonably priced and has fantastic pool and rooms in Siem Reap.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms / bungaloes are well equipped and very clean. In our room the safety deposit box was actually a wooden box but without a padlock, but as we had a spare one we just used that. I would however say that i felt that all our belongings would have been perfectly safe in the room anyway.

We didnt eat here, so cant comment on the food, and we walked into town for food, about 10 -15 minutes walk from the hotel to the centre or just take a tuktuk.

We did eat at The Touich Restaurant Bar (currently number 1 on tripadvisor) and i can highly recommend getting a tuktuk to take you there as the food is fantastic, but book ahead as it quite small and the tables get booked really quickly, the hotel will happily phone up for you.

We also made a couple of trips, and the hotel were really helpful in calling up the various organizers when we were unsure of or needed to reconfirm pickup details.

Just spent 4 lovely nights at this new property. Located next to the prestigious Pannasastra University, this is the perfect place for those travelers looking for tranquility and a dip in the pool after a day of visiting the temples! Excellent price /quality ratio. Good dining right on the premises, a nice breakfast with choice of Asian and western food, very good fresh fruit shakes and juices. Poolside service was very good. The pool is big enough for those that might like to get in a few laps! Rooms are new, large, clean and comfortable; with a/c and fridge. There is a nice veranda for sitting in the evening. Bathrooms are a good size with lovely walk-in shower, and separate tiled bathtub, plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. Plumbing is new and works perfectly! Tuk Tuks are always available to take you where you need to go. The hotel has a van that does airport pickup. Location is good. Not too far from Angkor Wat and within walking distance to Pub Street.
This is the perfect place for couples and single travelers who are looking for an unpretentious, quiet place that has it all. A wonderful, relaxing and comfortable stay! Our hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The staff went out of their way to make sure that all of the guests were comfortable and happy. We will definitely come again!

One important note: The intimate layout of the rooms and grounds is not conducive to couples with babies or young children. There is no place for them to play and the pool area is landscaped, so no place to run around. This is a quiet oasis.
