Superb cuisine, reasonable prices, excellent service. Do not visit Siem Reap without dining here! After dinner, pop across the street and have a drink in the hanging sofas at the Kroya!

The produce was fresh, the chef excellent and the service could not be faulted. However, it was a Saturday night and we were the only table present in a large restaurant. The food was just too complicated. A mixture of different tastes on the same plate that just didn't feel right. It felt very "try hard 1970s". As an example Sea bass with an orange sauce or fresh spring rolls with feta cheese. It is a shame because the chef was obviously a good cook and great host. I would de-clutter the menu and make it less confused. Fusion food can be done well, this unfortunately was not.

A fine restaurant located adjacent to a boutique inn. The food could not have been better with unique flavors and fine service.

Good:
- Food. Definitely different from delicious/inexpensive local food with local, cheap settings. Presentation is at their best. Try "Trilogies de foie gras" as appetizer and this could be an excellent way to have French with local flavors. All yellow things in picture is made of mango and those mango wraps with sweet inside is genius. I try lamb entree and it might be the most European dish here. Otherwise check local chicken dish with fancy presentation of rice mountain in other picture. Dessert is also quite good.
- Excellent location in old French quarter. It is next to my good hotel, Angkor Days Inn Resort. There is patio like setting but it is covered with glass and AC is on. If you really want to sit outside, it is also available.
- Traditional dance on some nights (I think on Wednesday, need to call ahead if you are interested).

Ok
- Waiters/waitresses are quite attentive but as some TA reviewers mentioned they can be overwhelmed at times. It was quite funny but they try to take some thing (at least plate or wine glass) whenever they come near the table. One time, I purposely held my plate and that particular waiter seemed so shock to go back empty handed!

Things could improve
- Price is average compared to restaurants in Europe or United States but the big boss/owner needs some reminders that his restaurant is in fact in Cambodia, not even Singapore or Bangkok and there are many inexpensive restaurants in town.

We did a private cooking lesson at Cassia and it was so much fun and of course delicious! I would highly recommend doing this while you're in Cambodia. It included a fun trip to the market to learn about the local products, which was such a treat!
