We did a private cooking lesson at Cassia and it was so much fun and of course delicious! I would highly recommend doing this while you're in Cambodia. It included a fun trip to the market to learn about the local products, which was such a treat!

The house is really nice and very well situated, calm and peaceful.
The staff is very friendly and the food is very nice displayed and delicious.
As a starter I recommend the overview platter for two people.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Low key, relaxed, and beautifully situated, it has to be one of Siem Reap's pleasantest places to enjoy dinner. First of all, the food was delicious, fresh, creative, and carefully prepared and presented. I especially liked the shrimp ceviche appetizer with its zesty Khmer-inspired sauce and the fresh spring rolls enlivened by a bit of blue cheese to create an unusual flavor. Second, the staff was efficient and friendly, and the owners extremely hospitable. Finally, the setting was peaceful, relaxing, and genuine unlike many of the other restaurants in the noisier, more bustling parts of the town. Occasionally, the restaurant accepts small, high end tour groups. If you happen to go on such a night, seat yourself in the other of the two dining areas, and you won't know the group is there. And I almost forgot. The wine and the new Kingdom beer (tasted almost like a micro brew) were excellent.

We went there for lunch with a group of 14 people. The set menu prepared for our group was good but not particularly memorable: standard fusion cuisine. The setting of the restaurant is very attractive and the overall experience was pleasnat.
