Great place, very good food, nice rooms, very nice swimmingpool, fantastic stayed. We were upgraded from the Motherhome Guesthouse. We loved that place, during the day running around Siem Reap, and in the evenings chilling at the pool. Fantastic.

My Wife and I stayed at Motherhome Inn in Siem Reap for four days Dec 1st to 5th 2013.
We were collected at no charge from the bus drop of point in Siem Reap on our arrival from Phnom Penh by the Hotels Tuk Tuk. without a hitch.
On our arrival at the hotel we were greetedand presented with cold scented towels to freshen up and given a welcome fruit drink whilst we checked in. We were then shown to our room and shortly afterwards our luggage was delivered.
The room was a good size, nicely decorated and clean. The beds were comfortable and firm.
The wireless connection was good but a little slow compared with home(to be expected) The location is an easy 10 minute stroll to Pub Street and the Markets, or a 1 to 2 real by Tuk Tuk.
Breakfast was the best we had had during our 4 week trip to Borneo, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia including a couple of 5 star Hotels costing double the Motherhome charge per night. Unlimited freshly fried eggs and omelete, toast, coffee, tea etc etc.Pool was nice too.
All things considered, this was by far the best hotel of our trip and I can wholeheartedly recommend staying there.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking pool are best

I've tried to book the sister property "Motherhome Guesthouse", but since they were full, I've been offered the Motherhome Inn. I was not disappointed at all. The place is very good value for money.
Good service, Room is very clear. And they also have a massage place inside the hotel. The staff provides a very good service and the tuk tuks managed by the hotel are very safe.

The only downsides I can think off are the location and food. It is a bit far from the city itself, so you have to use a tuk tuk to go to restaurants or pub street. But they have lots of tuk tuks to make sure you will be able to do so. The other is the restaurant. The food is ok, but not particularly remarkable.

Room Tip: Confirm your arrival, so they can pick you up at the airport.

The brand says it all. as i gave my review at the sister property "Motherhome Guest house" , everything equally great , the most comfortable sleep i had in all Motherhome's property.
I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Siem Reap

Room Tip: ask for highest floor, less noise

I had a recommendation before we went, so I booked a room in the guesthouse area. They were waiting for us at the airport and when we got to the place we were informed that only the hotel was available because the guesthouse was full:)
The motto they have is totally covered the truth: "you are genuinely cared for" by them.
The staff is friendly and helpful - they arranged everything for us - the room is perfectly clean.
It's just worth staying here. Absolutely recommended.

I received a recommendation to stay at MotherHome, which was the best advice for our stay during traveling in SE Asia. We had 5 people and they were not only friendly and accommodating, but truly helpful within recommendations in the area and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Great facilities, staff, massages and food. Would highly highly recommend MotherHome and thanks for all your hospitality!

Room Tip: Room over the pool had great views.

We decided to choose Motherhome Inn as it looks decent and the place is well taken care of. It is also value for money since we stayed for 10 days during our trip.

Location
It is located about 10 mins away from Siem Reap airport and a short walking distance from Sokha Angkor Resort. As for Pub Street, it is about 15-20 mins walk or 5 minutes by tuk-tuk. Nearby, you can walk over to Lucky Mall, about 10 mins to buy groceries. The inn is just off the main road, hence it is quieter and you can't hear much traffic from the main road. There is a short cut to go to pub street from one of the back road after Caltex. We have walked during day and night time and it is safe.

Room
We took the double deluxe room. It was spacious and roomy. Two complimentary bottles of water is given everyday if you allow the housekeeping to clean the room. Many tv channel selections if you prefer to stay in the hotel and rest for the day. There is a safe deposit box available. The aircond works well, other than few last days during our stay, it must have been too cold during the night that the aircond leak of water in the morning. After we switched it off, it stopped. Bathroom is a shared toilet and shower, like in most typical Asian countries, separated only by the curtain shower. The bathroom drain took a while to clear, if there were too much of water being used but we do not mind. Hairdryer is available in the bathroom if you need it and they provide basic toiletries; toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shower gel and hair shampoo. The toiletries were proven useful to us as on our first two days of arrival, our flight missed out half the passengers' luggages back in KL, and we had checked in both our luggages and end up with nothing except our pouches.

Facilities
Tuk-tuk is available at all times when you need it. They made good arrangements to partner and ensure that tuk-tuk is available as and when house guests needs it. Swimming pool is clean and well-kept with fresh towels available at the pool side. There is massage available too and reasonable. You do need to book one day in advance by informing the reception counter. Lift is available too, if you need to use. They have a pool bar that we did not use and if you need tour arrangements, you can enquire with them too.

Dining
Daily breakfast is provided and after our 4th day, breakfast choice is pretty much the same daily and limited. They have more variety from their a la carte menu that you could try during lunch or dinner. You could explore the local stalls outside the inn during night time.

Staff
Response from Kim leang was fast the moment I send an enquiry for room reservation and I received his reply within 24 hours most of the time. The staff are friendly and humble and they are always helpful and it shows that they care for their guests. Everytime we are back to the hotel, someone is always at the door, wanting to provide us with a fresh, wet minty towel.

Other things to note
If you are paying by cash upon check out, do ensure that the money isn't torn or old. We had a minor problem as they mentioned that the bank will deduct a certain amount if the money given to them is torn or old.

I would recommend to those who is looking for a decent and clean place to stay and still at a reasonable price. i even booked for my mum to stay next April the moment I come home.

Room Tip: You can request for the room facing the pool side.
