Yous Sophana is our guide for 3 full days of temple tour. From the start, he has been very prompt in replying our emails and providing a breakdown of the tour cost based on what we want to visit.

As it was the Lunar new year holidays, there were alot of tourists/locals visiting the temples. Sophana is very flexible in the iternary and allows us to change the plan. He also knows when is the best timing for the visits and to avoid the crowd. He will also propose to visit more temples if time permits (but we were too tired on the 2nd day to see the sunset)

+ve points
- Friendly and very Knowledgeable. He briefed us the history of angkor and it was very enriching. Even though we visited the angkor museum before this tour, we still did not manage to understand the history. Sophana did a very gd job in educating us
- Cold mineral water and soft drinks throughout the trips
- He helps us to book the heli ride because the company did not reply my booking online
- Likes photography and helped us to take a lot of nice photos
- Communicates in good english

Had a very enjoyable trip and we highly recommend Sophana's service.

When my brother suggested that we escape the craze of the Chinese New Year, Siem Reap was the last thing on our mind but the historical aspects were alluring. Besides, none of us had been there before. The trip took place on Feb 8 - 12, 2013 and for 2 days, we hired a guide who came highly recommended by my cousin. Our tour guide is a 3rd generation Teochew (a dialectical group from southern China province of Guangzhou, China). We were glad that due to the request for a Mandarin-speaking guide, Sopanha sent a female tour guide which in our opinion is more caring than a male. She was compassionate, caring and showed us the "Kodak moments" spots. Due to our mother's mobility issues, she helped to plan and revise our original somewhat ambitious trip. The best part was that she helped us to find quiet corners at the restaurant, away from tourists that are boisterous and rowdy (you know from where!). At the end of her service, we made sure that she was handsomely tipped. It was more than the usual tipping rate but Chea Sokach or "Ah Gek" (the tour guide's Teochew name) was worth it!

Family of 5 including children (10, 8, 5) had an extraordinary time. We've lived in Asia for 4 tears and traveled throughout south east Asia. This is the best tour guide experience we have had to date. Sophana worked with us to create a custom itinerary including all of our transportation to and from the airport.

Mr Vann Seila (2632) was our actual tour guide. He was amazing. Often tour guides become rigid and inflexible. Mr Seila was very flexible and allowed us to modify our plans in real time. His English was excellent and was extensively knowledgable about the sites and Cambodia in general. Above all he was friendly and open. Our entire family truly enjoyed having him along.

Our basic itinerary over the 2 days was 4 temples, a waterfall, and some shopping. We started at 8 on day one and 9 on day two (again, flexible iteneraries) and were back at the hotel by 3-4 each day. This allowed us to relax, catch dinner at Jungle Junction, get a message, and go to the night market and still get a good night sleep.

Our 3 boys had a very good time. We highly recommend Sophana's service.

If you wanted a fun, memorable and hassle-free travel experience, Yous Sopanha is definitely the best man to travel with!
Sopanha was extremely knowledgeable about his home and had a wonderful sense of humor. His stories were informative and interesting. It'd be a pity if we had visited the Angkor Wat temples without him, he really did great walked us through the history of Cambodia, having him there to explain what we were looking at really amazed us.
What I liked best about Sopanha is that we felt like we were traveling with our friend but not a guide. He's friendly, loving and thoughtful. I got to see all the sights we wanted in our short stay. He was so good about figuring out what we would like best and shouldn't miss out on, and what's great was he never rush things out and took us to places when we could always avoid the crowds.
Thank you Sopanha for the memorable journey. Love your company!
