We really hit the jackpot when we dined at the Green Star! Excellent food and wonderful hospitality by Doug made for a wonderful dining experience. The prawn with green mango salad was our favourite; the prawns were light and crispy and the tangy salad really offset the flavours so well. The sliced beef fillet with pepper and fried rice were equally delicious. Our son is a very fussy eater and Doug and Avee made a special effort to accommodate his needs by organising a dish for him of fries and chicken. The restaurant itself is not air conditioned or done up fancy but the fans keep the mosses away and the table arrangements ere very comfortable. Overall, if you want an authentic Khmer dining experience with great ambience and good service then you must try Green Star. We walked away full, satisfied, happy and impressed with paying less than USD30 for an entree, 4 drinks, 4 mains and 5 donated "plate for a Gecko kid"! Thanks Doug and Avee for a wonderful evening!
