This hotel is good value for money. It's clean, in a great location, and provides a reasonable quality of service.
My room had robes and slippers, a kettle for tea and coffee, a mini fridge, and flat screen tv. Two bottles of drinking water were also provided each day. Breakfast was included although it was a simple mix of bread, fruit, cereal, and juice with little daily variation.
The tiny rooftop pool provides respite from the sweltering heat. The elevator is useful if you're feeling too lazy for the stairs.
The English spoken by the staff is passable and they are able to address most basic needs adequately. They arranged excursions, tuk tuk drivers, airport transfers, and room maintenance.
Given the cost, it would be unreasonable to expect more than the level of services provided.

A strange experience with this place, enjoyed it but there is so much room for potential.

The Good: I loved the location, very close to the old markets, night markets and Bar Street (which is now called Pub Street and become expensive in the 4 years since my last visit). Staff were very helpful, however for most their English was not the best. Great cheap restaurants nearby. Great view from the roof, and the tiny pool is welcome, plus quite clean.

The Bad: no pillowcases on pillows? The first night we had no towels, then discovered now pillowcases (arrived late). After discussions, it appears there are no pillowcases and we had none for the next 3 nights. Breakfast was quite ordinary, cold and limited selection. Balcony is super tiny, practically useless. Air con wasn't real cool in our room

We only paid $35 plus tax a night, so we're happy with value for money.

Room Tip: Not a room tip, but look off the rooftop to see the crocodile farm/pool behind the place. Bizarre!

Our experience was much poorer than the reviews of others would made us to expect.
Plus: location, friendly staff
Minus: quite terrible breakfast, cold eggs, very poor selection, bread can be several days old, and I am trying to forget the coffee. Smell of lemons in the hotel intended to hide other smells. The pool of 3 by 2 is a joke.
Just an average 3 star hotel.

The hotel is clean and in a good location. Tuk tuk drives outside so need to look very far. The pool is nice, clean and pretty quite. Large rooms. Comfortable beds, nice linens. Bathtub was great , we have been traveling now since jan. and a bath was relaxing.. Nice breakfast buffet to start the day. The staff were very helpful and kind. Next door go look at the alligators, free. While you are there nice family restaurant we had fruit desert with ice cream it was the best..

Room Tip: Ask for a room with good view.

This understated hotel is very charming and the staff is friendly.

We booked the larger 3 bed room and was only provided the 2 bed room which was still acceptable as the room was spacious and could accommodate our group. While the room is very basic it was very clean (top of my list in criteria), very spacious, beds were comfortable and the air con worked well! I really appreciated the bottle water which was needed under the hot Cambodia sun!

The room did have a quirk and that was the shower not having hot water despite the hot water in the bathroom sink! Even though a cold shower isn't ideal, given the very hot weather, the cool shower was refreshing!

The location is awesome...you're 1 block away from the night market and everything was close including grocery/convenience stores, restaurants and even massage spas!

The price was reasonable and the rooftop area was good while we were staying at the hotel however I imagine if the hotel was full it would get very cramped up there as it is very small!

The buffet breakfast was a nice offering however it was the same for our entire trip...a bit of variety would have been nice.

Overall I'd say it was a good stay for our 4 nights.

Room Tip: Our room was a corner room so we had lots of sunshine and it made the room very bright...noise was n...

We stayed for a couple nights. The hotel location is perfect...1 block away from all the action, yet quiet and peaceful. We had a large room with three single beds. It was clean. Nice breakfast buffet. The staff was helpful booking a cab to the Thai border, but some negotiation was necessary to agree on a price...best to know what you want, and what it should cost. 2 problems: Annoyingly, most of the electrical receptacles in the room use the 3 prong Hongkong style plug, not the usual 2 prong plug used throughout most of southeast asia. And, the rooftop pool is a joke....
