Certificate of Excellence

Having stayed at the Bunwin Residence (it's Sister Hotel) for 1 night, the Boutique hotel matched our expectations. Excellent service and attentive staff that go the extra mile in making your stay comfortable. Great breakfast and recommend you try the Amok Fish for lunch. The staff arranged our trip to Angkor Wat which was excellent and picked us up/ dropped us off in the centre of Siem Reap at our convenience. Would highly recommend staying here.

The best thing about Siep Reap. idyllic setting with native flora, stunning pool, beautifully designed and appointed rooms (compelte with spa bath and polihed concrete floors and huge shower head in a rock design shower), but the best thing was the service. The staff were amazingly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is approx 5 mins from Pub St (main tourist street), but the hotel has their own tuk tuks, for which the service is free. When they drop you in to town they give you a local mobile phone with the recepetion number pre-programmed to ring for a pick-up.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everybody!

Room Tip: Limitied rooms, think they are all the same but certainly no bad one.

Bunwin is a small boutique hotel that provides excellent service. My friend & I were staying there on 8 Aug to 11 Aug 2013 while we were in Siem Reap. Despite the bad location of the hotel, the hotel provides free tuk tuk service to city (which covers alot of places like Phare circus, pub street, etc). They even pass us a mobile phone so we can contact their driver or reception so that the tuk tuk will be there to pick you up. Staff gave recommendation & assist in planning our routes for tours and would even go an extra mile bringing us to the local temple for free.

The room was spacious and simple. Bedsheets and towels were clean. It wasnt a luxurious room but good enough & fits our budget.

Would recommend this hotel because they put customer satisfaction as first priority. We were so please with their service.

This little place is perfect. The service was better than most 5 star hotels I have been to. The rooms are beautiful. The staff became a family after I got mugged & injured in Siem Reap. They even paid for the medicine I needed for my injury. It was my friends birthday & they saw that on her passport so they also took the initiative to make her a surprise cake! They also got us a thoughtful present before we checked out. I would always stay there when I return to Cambodia.

If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable and enjoyable stay for your trip, please choose Bunwin. The room is spacious with tasteful design and with all the necessary facilities. The staff there are young but fantastic especially Leaksmy, Kimnay and Sina who are very helpful and friendly and always knew how to make you feel at home.

The massage and spa was really cheap. the standard price is from USD 12 to USD25 which is very good already. They also offer a 35% discount on those prices, which is a great surprise to us.

Other detailes such as the free mobile phone and local calls, free limo transfer to the airport, free tuktuk to the town, cool towel and drink for you everytime you are back, free fruit basket, etc. Those thoughtful things make your stay wonderful.

Room Tip: The suites are not much different from the standard room (just a little spacious but with all the sa...

A little more costly than similar boutique hotels in the area, but the service was faultless - attentive and polite. The hotel is only a short tuk tuk ride to most sites including the central town. Surprisingly tuk tuk trips to tourist sites (not town) are charged separately. Cold drinks are provided on the trips.
Breakfast is a la carte from a choice of 3, which also is different from the standard buffet.
Suite no 2 is a bigger room, but more expensive than the double rooms, which are well equipped, clean and nicely appointed. Complimentary mini bar is a nice touch.

Great boutique hotel for a retreat. Excellent rooms, facilities, personnel. Highly recommended to anyone looking for some small luxuries in Cambodja for affordable price.
Despite is not located in the heart of siem reap, it offers complimentary suttle to city center plus provides you with local number in case you need to contact the hotel during the stay.
