This was by far and away the best hotel we stayed at in our two and a half weeks travelling throughout Southeast Asia. The service was excellent, the rooms were beautiful, and the swimming pool was amazing. I could not have been more impressed with this hotel. I want to return to Cambodia just so I can stay at the Bunwin Boutique Hotel again.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Its a perfect place to rest after a whole day of exploring the temples and market place. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel provides a a free tuk tuk ride no wherever we want to go. They also offer the tour package to the temples and other areas outside of the city. For safety, they provided us a cellphone so we can easily call any establishment or ask for a pickup from the hotel. Breakfast food was good too. Since its been raining when we were there, they have available umbrellas to provide is when we go out. We also met some cool people from other countries and back home who also enjoyed their stay.

We stayed in Bunwin BH for three nights.
The way from the main road into the hotel (about 250m) is through a little street with houses in poor living conditions. But it shouldn't be of worry as the hotel provides a courtesy tuck-tuck to and from the city centre. When you go to the town, You will receive a mobile phone, so you could call to the hotel at the time you want a pick up from the town (it's a free service). Just remember this service stops at 22:00. But there are plenty of tuck-tucks in the town to come back later.
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Nicely designed.
Cook in the hotel's restaurant is great, once we tried his meals, we refused going for dinner to the town.
Hotel staff was most helpful and attentive to all our requests.
Swimming pool was clean and inviting, especially in the hot June's weather.
No noise at all was audible from outside of this oasis, and we had the most pleasant stay in this place.
We would stay here again if the opportunity to visit Siem Reap arises again.

Stayed here during November/December last year so the review is around 7 months late(!). I remember having a great stay here at this hotel. The staff is attentive, the restaurant was decently priced and the food tasted great (hope you do not have a fear of geckos scaling the walls in the restaurant because they are in abundance) and the rooms were nice and large. We stayed here to see Angkor Wat for the first time and had a decent time. Just make sure you pay careful attention when taking the TukTuk as the driver may go right past the hotel entrance which is on a small side road with a very small sign that you may not notice if going too fast.

The Bunwin hotel, appearance-wise, has a lot of personality. It's a little oasis tucked away in an untouristy neighborhood. There was a tree in front of our hotel room door that had a bushel of bananas hanging from it! The decor is earthy and traditional yet minimalistic. My friends and I booked the triple room which was very spacious and comfy. The room contains a bath tub, and an awesome rainfall shower. The service provided by the staff at Bunwin is exceptional! They provide free pick up and drop off to the bus station, and also provide free tuk tuks to the town center until 10pm. They give you a cell phone to call them once you are ready to be picked up. The staff was very helpful in booking a tuk tuk and tour guide for the Angkor Wat complex. They also helped us to purchase tickets to a local concert which would have been very difficult on our own. They even picked us up from the concert even though it was past the time limit for the free tuk tuk service. My friend had postcards she wanted to mail, and they staff was kind enough to drop them off at the post office for her! We were only able to eat breakfast at the hotel once, but it was good. Since we did a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat, the hotel staff packed us a to-go breakfast. Our stay at Bunwin was absolutely wonderful! Big thanks to the staff for being so incredible!!! Hands down- I will stay here whenever I am in Siem Reap next.
