Wow. We did the Phnom Penh tour a week before the Siem Reap tour. I left that tour saying, “That was the best food tour I have been on.” Then we did this one. The destinations were beyond special. Experiences we never would have had otherwise, and certainly that I will never forget. This is not your standard go to a market and then a street food stall that has been vetted for cleanliness. This is way beyond that.
Leanna is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and its food. She puts it all into context and you leave with a much deeper appreciation of the country. Because of her and this tour, we ate nothing but Khmer food for the 2 weeks we were in the country.

We were extremely happy with this tour! Leanna gave us context of each of the dishes that we tried—the family history, and how each dish or restaurant ties into the history of the city and the country. Expect stuff off the beaten track, including a wonderful home cooked meal. This tour is totally immersive; I highly recommend it!

Nice variety of dishes, a broad palette of tastes and styles is complimented with the origins of recipes and the necessity to adapt to an ever changing country. A real mixture of locations which enhance the experience tremendously - perhaps even better than the phnom penh tour! Thanks Leanna :-D

Hey Josh! The fact that we were debating whether or not it's better than the Phnom Penh tour is such a compliment- you've seen our first tour ever here while the Phnom Penh tour is a much more polished animal. Everyone comes to Siem Reap and hears the same stories about one (maybe two) ruins, I think there's a lot more we can talk about and eat through today with the descendants of Angkor and how the cuisine has adapted and changed since those temples were being built. Cool stuff! Excited to meet your family this month and have them on the tour :)
