Great location, amazing staff, every thing you need. A relaxing place to unwind after long flights and the congested streets of Siem Reap. Still close enough to walk to restaurants and local markets. Plentiful breakfast and free WIFI in your room.

We stayed a wonderful four nights at the Golden Temple Hotel. From the moment that we arrived we were greeted like long lost friends and made to feel very welcome. Check in was swift, and a cool drink and towel was much appreciated. We stayed in the "Double Deluxe with Pool View room." It was spacious and beautifully decorated in a Khmer theme which was a great combination of comfort and culture. The hotel has a list of tours of the temples and surrounding countryside which are well organised and reasonably priced. The staff are very knowledgeable and are able to assist with most enquiries, or will endeavour to follow up on questions that they can't initially answer. A point of difference with the hotel is that they only endorses safe, reliable, and honest tuk tuk drivers which puts the mind at ease. Complimentary airport pick up was a great bonus and well organised. Breakfast was simple but nice and we were greeted with warm smiles each morning. The hotel is well located and only a short stroll from the town centre. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay with friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, and fantastic customer service; we were actually sad to leave! I would highly recommend anyone visiting Siem Reap to enhance their stay by experiencing the wonderful hospitality of the Golden Temple Hotel for themselves!
Ps. Thank you to Sreyne, Dara, and the staff for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here whilst visiting the temples at Angkor Wat. It was a wonderful experience, they try so hard to provide the best service, we really enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located with a small pool and spa. They provide a free massage with the room rate. My first massage I felt I was just another body ( which I was!) but the second leg massage was great. If I had to. Change anything it would be the colours of the rooms, for my taste they are too vibrant to be restful and I would provide crisp which sheets and towels......but the rest of the experience was so well meaning and efficient I can't fault it.

We stayed here for 4 nights and could not fault a single aspect of the overall hotel experience, apart from the pool being a bit chilly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The staff were warm and welcoming and rooms spacious and comfortable.
The complimentary fruit platters were most welcome!

The Golden Temple was a great choice for our 2 night stay in Siem Reap. The hotel has a tropical ambiance right in the center of town. Although the lobby and pool area are very inviting and our room was spacious and comfortable, it is the staff of the hotel which made our visit so memorable. Each staff member calls the guests by name and is eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel booked our tour guide, Sophal, who spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about Khmer history and the amazing temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Tom.

Our reservation included some great extras, such as a massage for each of us, and a complimentary Khmer BBQ dinner. The pleasant restaurant overlooks the pool, and breakfast included many selections, both American and Khmer style. The Golden Temple was a delightful experience in every way, especially In a town which has many generic resort type hotels. We look forward to visiting again.

Golden Temple Hotel is located just a few short blocks from the night market and pub street, so the location is ideal for getting around. We had no problem with transport as we found our own tuk tuk driver that we used for entire week. The staff is amazing, friendly, thorough and efficient. As other guests have mentioned, the staff know your names and your family. They greet you every time you come and go from the hotel as well as just take time to chat with you while you are hanging out at the pool. We were in Siem Reap for a little longer than most travelers because we wanted to really dig into the area and discover everything that it has to offer. Friends had told us that 4 days was not enough to really enjoy the area and we're glad that we did stay for a week.

The staff was incredible the entire length of our stay. The hairdryer in my room malfunctioned and it was fixed immediately. We experienced fantastic and efficient service at all levels in the hotel. The buffet breakfast in the morning was sufficient and yummy. They have an ala carte menu that you can also order from, but we felt that the buffet and eggs station kept us fueled for our long day of touring the temples.

We also took advantage of the Khmer Cooking Class. My husband, my 9 year old daughter and I all spent 2 hours with Nary who walked us through the classic Khmer cuisine that we prepared. The class was fun and our food was delicious. Nary was a great and very patient teacher.

This is a small hotel and will not have all of the amenities of a large resort, but if you want to settle into a place where you are treated like a friend or family, the Golden Temple Hotel is for you. Also, the owner is Cambodian. Worked his way up and owns 3 hotels in Siem Reap and a restaurant on Pub Street.

It's hard to come up with a list of superlatives that fully describe the experience at the Golden Temple Hotel.

The Golden Temple Hotel is located in the heart of Siem Reap within walking distance to the Night Market and Pub Street. Note: Many hotels in Siem Reap are located on Highway 6 between the airport and town and there is nothing around them. Check the location of your hotel before booking.

When arriving at the Golden Temple, you find a small area of greenery on a busy street with nothing but a small stone monument to mark the entrance. After walking through an archway you make your way across stepping stones to the open-air lobby area decorated with traditional khmer design and Buddhist influences.

The entire staff greets you with a bow and welcome and you are asked to relax on the comfortable lobby furniture as they serve refreshing drinks, fruit and snacks as they prepare your check in. The entire staff excels at service at every level. They are attentive and helpful. English is spoken by most staff members. After finishing the check in process, we were escorted to our rooms and given a short tour of the room and hotel.

Room size is very large with private bath, satellite TV, complimentary bottled water and snacks. Our pool view room had a large balcony with comfortable furniture. The bed was massive and comfortable.

The front desk staff arranged an english speaking guide and driver for around $25/day. The guide they selected was outstanding. Tour costs were added directly to our hotel bill.

The hotel restaurant serves outstanding food at very reasonable prices offering both Khmer and some Western dishes. Breakfast was included with the room. Western breakfast is offered. The hotel also arranged a takeaway lunch for us to eat while we were out touring all day!

The pool is beautiful and clean. The onsite spa offers a great Thai massage.

When we checked out, it seemed like the whole staff came to the lobby to say farewell.

Room Tip: The pool view rooms face east so you can catch the sunrise if you want to. The standard rooms offer...
