I stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights and wished I could have stayed for longer. Before finding this gem, I had a look at other hotels in the same price range and they were not up to the same standard. The place is well located, about a 5 min walk to pub street and you can get a good nights rest without being disturbed. Breakfast is also included in the price.

I found the staff here to be kind, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make their guests happy. The owner is an Australian chap who is good fun and treats his staff well. I think this makes a huge difference as the staff obviously care and want you to enjoy your stay.

When I arrived they had just installed a swimming pool which was great as I spent quite a bit of time between swimming and resting in the hammock reading my travel guide. It was a shame my stay was so short as I would have loved to have spent some more time enjoying my lovely room. The beds were comfortable with crisp, white clean linen and thick white fluffy bath towels. The free wifi worked perfectly in the room and the room was equipt with a flat screen TV, bar fridge, aircon, hot & cold water. The aircon worked superbly and the room was made up on a daily basis with 2 complementary bottles of water each day. Also the rooms were free of any insects and mosquitos which was a huge bonus. Everything was so clean, modern and fresh.

I could not fault this place at all and would recommend it to other travelers in an instant.

Room Tip: Make sure you drop by the Tuk Tuk bar a short stroll down the road. They do amazing fruit shakes the...

I have just checked out of Siem Reap Garden Inn with some sadness! I extended my stay because I liked it here so much. It has the professionalism of a really good hotel, with the homely feel of a small guesthouse. It's just a 5 minute walk from the Old Market - close enough to town to be convenient but at the same time very tranquil. My room was very clean and comfortable; it had the quietest AC I've come across yet and a full range of amenities, including a minibar, hairdryer, bathroom kit and free bottled water. The TV also had a good range of channels.

The best things, however, were to be found outside the room. The salt water pool was lovely - brand new, very clean, and the perfect temperature. It is surrounded by a seating area (used for breakfast) and beautiful tranquil gardens complete with gazebos and hammocks. The included breakfast was very good - fruit and juice as well as eggs and toast cooked to order. Tea and coffee were available all day in the hall, which was a nice touch. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly; I got to know some of them a bit and they always remembered my name and breakfast order! The staff make this place what it is. They made booking tours, bus tickets, etc a pleasure.

There are just a few small things that this hotel could improve on in its rooms. It would be nice to have a 'do not disturb' sign to keep the housekeepers away if you want a lie-in after a tiring day looking round temples! I was happy enough with the wet room shower but a separate cubicle and/or bath would be even better. Finally, there is not much storage space in the room; a wardrobe or chest of drawers would be helpful. However, these are tiny criticisms which could help the hotel be even better but didn't affect my stay. I had a really special time here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to all sorts of travellers.

The owner of the hotel, Michael, was really friendly and great in fixing us up with a good priced tuktuk driver for the 2 days we were there and generally welcoming us to the area. Beds are fantastic - clean crisp sheets and fluffy comforters. Breakfast is a little iffy: I think the ham the first day was a bit rancid, but they have peanut butter and funny coconut breads and it's free so hey! Also the juice is a notch above what you often find in SEAsian hotels. Nice pool, pretty place, right next to pub street. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for one night whilst doing a visa run from thailand and was very pleased with the accommodation. You do get what you pay for, but this was clean, comfortable and the pool is an asset. The manager and staff were very friendly and I would certainly go back.

This newly renovated guest house is lovely. They rooms are bright and comfy, breakfast is nice and the pool is a great benefit on hot Siem Reap afternoons. They've got a couple of hammocks but a few sunbeds would be a good addition to the garden/lounge area.

The location is close to the central part of the city. Staff is friendly.

My family stayed at the Siem Reap Garden Inn for several days in June. What a great place to relax after a hot day wandering around Angor ruins. The pool is great for the kids, and the location is walking distance to all the downtown sites, assuming you still want to walk anywhere after doing Angor Wat. That is fantastic, but hot this time of year. Upon returning the cool room and new pool were the place to relax. Service is great, and the owner Michael is always ready to help with anything you want to see, or plan. He is a character, and I suggest you make sure you get him talking. He's friendly and always happy to join a party. The staff is excellent, and the hotel itself is beautifully done with exotic hardwoods you won't see in many places anymore. Restaurants & shopping are in walking distance. Prices will shock you when you see what you get for such a small amount. Put this on on your list.

This extremely clean and well managed guest house is only a few minutes walk from downtown. We really enjoy the large room with a clean bathroom (rare in Cambodia!) and a big flat screen TV. The jungle garden with the outdoor restaurant was fine for the breakfast and the owner, Australian, was fun to talk to. Definitely recommended for short or long stay, prices are also excellent for the quality (less than $ 20). Cherry on top, a new swimming pool is nearly finished but we will have to come back for that one....

Room Tip: Upstairs on the garden side
